Ahh I do think her fireballs will be used, I just meant the fireball combos. They felt kinda impractical but maybe if you hit a standing opponent, they’d be better used in combos. One thing I did notice was the MK one sits right over their head so you can just walk up and do stuff to them and they’re scared to move because it’s directly over them. I’m thinking if they throw a poke it might move their hitbox up and get them hit on a lot of characters. On Gouken I was able to MK fireball walk up and throw him while it hovered over his head lol
Also gotta correct myself on dashing under fireballs, had someone test it on all the fireballs and apparently it doesn’t work on all fireballs, it’s character specific. Right now I know it works on gouken / high tiger shot, and probably Seth’s sonic boom but not sure on everyone else.
edit: tested more, you can dash under Rose, Seth for Sure, and Yoga fire. Doesn’t work on Hadoukens or Sonic Booms. Oh also Akuma’s regular fireball, for whatever reason it has a smaller hitbox than other hadoukens.
edit edit: Are you guys hit confirming j.MP Dive Kick? That’s the part that’s hard to hit confirm for me, since it’s unsafe. If so, what’s the trick? o_o
after i hit mp im buffering the divekick, so if it hits i just press the button…it takes practice to hitconfirm (like c.mk to pinwheel) but i think its pretty lenient
If your talking about a grounded oppoenet, you can just f.fk ultra which is way easier cause if you are doing j.mp xx dive kick and it’s blocked you can get wacked or put into a even position which kinda sucks. People say U2 is versatile but I really don’t think it is, as an antiair it’s extremely risky and a smart opponent isn’t jumping when i can j.mp air to air even if they do it’s usually when I dont have an ultra. It usually only lands off dp whiffs or lvl2 focus.

IMO the opportunities to use FSE for guaranteed damage were pretty much the same as ones to use U2. I guess you’d get more pressure afterwards but I need to test FSE more to see what you can do with it. It felt kinda meh to me since you can’t delay the attacks to bait anything… everything has to be rapidly canceled. Can you chain from normals into the overhead?
Also just curious since you probably have the most experience with her, whats your opinion on her so far?
LK Pinwheel is definitely unsafe, at max range it’s a guaranteed HP TU from Sagat (which means it’s probably -5 max range) and closer it can go up to -8. What is safe and great to use blockstrings is ending with Fuhajin which is either 0 or +1, since Chun-Li’s super couldn’t hit it after blocking reversal, and Zangief gets pushed far enough and can’t even SPD or Ultra (I think if he was in range you would have enough time to jump). Also from cr.lk you can cancel into Fuhajin which on block cannot allow for mashed DPs in between the cr.LK and Fuhajin, as well as cr.MKand Fuhajin.
FSE seems to be useful, if you hit two combos in one go that’s 600dmg no EX meter, and Ultra 2 has nice combo ability after EX-Shikusen, although it is character-specific (vs. Ryu very consistent, vs. Sagat 99% consistent, vs. Blanka 10% etc.) and has good ability as an anti-air.
Im getting blocked doing reversal TU Seems like more risk than reward unless you have 2 bars. Especially since TU is only 100 damage now. Ryu on the other hand hits his reversal anytime she finishes in range. If she just knicks him with 1 hit from max distance a reversal HP srk whiffs. Thats what im gettin in training mode right now.
Senpusha is her pinwheel which is unsafe, fuhajin is the fireball kick charge move that is safe on block and chips 12dmg. LK Pinwheel chips 25dmg, but you’re getting punished.

It’s spacing dependent, and the opponent needs to be tall and standing (Dudley, Sagat, etc.). I was experimenting with a hitconfirm into cr.HP to stand them up which goes as 'j.HK>cr.mk>release low fuhajin>cr.HP>High EX Fuhajin>Ultra 2, but still it was picky on the spacing, you can’t be too far and too close. Great flashy combo, but not practical in-game, since you don’t want a failed ultra attempt.
the Infinite is probably gonna get patched ASAP so you dont need to worry about that, plus who the fuck plays Fei anyway?
anyone tried pinwheel as far AA so that only the last part hits then Ultra2?
can you EX dive>activate Ultra1>hit them after the wall bounce for a reset?
what happens if you hit her stomp (j.Faps) on an air-borne opponent?
