Ich glaube wir kennen uns nicht persnlich, es sei denn du bist frher zu nrw ranbats gegangen von 3rd strike, da war ich nmlich einmal da, ich bin ziemlich neu zu der scene in deutschland,pt.Atom und mi weil ich aus mexiko komme. Ich bin von den aarbrckern, ich spiele ja immer mit Cpt.Atom und Jan. Ich hoffe wir sehen uns in den neutron cinemasters, und in den 3rd strike turnier von langefeld!!

Shouldn’t be different from Cammy’s where it gives you random Cannon Spikes if your execution is off.

That said, with the recovery, how useful are TK’ed Dive Kicks?

Thank to Johnnyturk we now have full information on all of Juri’s moves so yeah that’s pretty good stuff, her BnBs should easily get over 200 with EX pinwheel in 'em.

Thank you Johnny for testing Juri, here’s all the info gathered:

LP - st=30; far=30; cr=30; jf.50; jneutral=50
MP - st=70; far=80; cr=70; jf.50; jneutral=80
HP - st=100; far=120; cr=100; jf.90; jneutral=100
LK - st=30; far=40; cr=20; jf.40; jneutral=40
MK - st=65; far=100; cr=60; jf.70; jneutral=80
HK - st=110; far=110; cr=90; jf.100; jneutral=100

Overhead (f.MK)= 70 dmg

Fujihan (Fireball)= Does 50 on kick and 50 on fireball. Ex version does 100 dmg (it’s fireball only, no kick)
Shikusen (Dive Kick)= 40, 80 on 2i, 144 on 3s. Means 144 dmg total. EX Version is only one input and does 160 dmg.
Senpusha (pinwheel)= 100, 120, 140, 180 for LK, MK, HK and EX, respectively.

Super= does 370 dmg. however, HK super only fully juggles in the corner and whiffs a big part of it mid-screen. On the other hand, LK and MK Super only fully juggle mid-screen and whiff an even bigger part in the corner.

Kaisen Dankairaku= does 480 dmg.

F.Throw=130
B.Throw=120

Focus= 60, 80, 140 for lvl1, lvl2 and Final, respectively.

EDIT: has anyone seen this color for juri? It’s different from the one everyone hates and only I like. The green is more… green and less ummm… puke colored.

The tk dive kick didnt feel that hard to me but im used to doing it on viper. Its not that useful really because it hits so low that you cant do the followups. By itself it only does 40 damage. So it seems to be decent for pressure mixups but not a whole lot more. I guess if your opponent is one chip hit from death it would be pretty good cuz it still covers like 1/3 screen so they prolly wouldnt be expecting it that fast. c.mk into any pinwheel is an easy punisher. If you do it into ex it does 240 damage. EX pinwheel is 180 by itself and ex messiah is 160 now. Take that Rufus! lol. I feel like juris pokes are pretty good and you can get into a pinwheel from even lp or lk. Lk seems really fast and you can chain them together. EX dive kick is awesome because it does the wall bounce and goes into ultra obviously. The downside is that its range is limited. RH dive kick covers a lot more space than EX. If you hit them with EX close to corner you can still followup with ultra or EX pinwheel when they cross over you lol. J.fp is so awesome its basically like having Seths third stomp by itself. You can make it an instant overhead for a knockdown too.

EDIT: kanta she has 2 alts with green on her top like that. One is the green/white/black that ive seen in some videos and then theres one with purple on the pants/arms/chest with green on the design on the top/hair/nails. That one looks pretty cool. I also like her white/blue/silver a lot. I already got all her colors cuz she is so much fun lol.

also, i think the tk divekick may be able to combo into ultra since if u do a divekick (RH) at the last second u can ultra off of it midscreen

tk divekick into ultra 2 does work in the corner :amazed: seems to knock them too far away outside the corner tho. Oh well you could try for the j.mp>dive>ultra outside corner. Btw instant over head j.mp and j.fp both whiff on crouchers.

I never thought that I would enjoy playing Juri as much as I do. She was the character I was the least interested in and now I can’t stop playing her :smiley: She has insane mix-up with her fireball/overhead game, easy links, nic setups into ultra and a good pressure game. Everything I want in a character. I’ll be checking out these threads and seeing what I need to do, in order to improve with Juri.

Yeah the TKing the dive kicks feels like it has an odd timing, maybe a minimum height to do the dive kick or something. We tested and they are safe when you do them low to the ground, or if you hit the edge of their hit box. Just don’t make them block at like head height or it’s unsafe. I didn’t really get punished much for it though so I don’t think it’s that bad. It’s really fast, hard to react to it.

Losing to zonk knuckle as someone mentioned isn’t surprising since zonk seems to have full or atleast upper body invincibility. It’s a very cheesy move.

As far as ground pokes, cr.MK is the way to go, although at max range her fireball kick whiffs so stick with pinwheel at range and fireball kick up close. After you knock them down you can throw the low fireball and do mixups with a fireball on top of them, it’s juicy.

st.MK is also pretty good for her pokes and st.LK has good range / speed. Think similar to abel’s st.LK… maybe a bit shorter.

I wasn’t able to combo after LK pinwheel but it’s definitely a frame trap. You can scare people into blocking after it, especially since it leaves them standing. Think viper’s lightning punch with a better hit box.

Also sadly, tested it but you can’t ultra after pinwheel kicks, it doesn’t seem to leave them in juggle state. Maybe the EX version on anti air or something but the first hit would have to be FADCed (first hit is the only one that’s FADCable, so no spamming it and then FADCing when you see it was blocked like Rufus).

Fireball Kick > Fireball is not frame tight. It’s quick timing but Makoto was able to cr.MP > Hayate in between the hits. You could probably mix in an EX pinwheel to force them to block though.

Also it seems her focus doesn’t hit all the way to the ground. I focused a lot of characters slides and it would just whiff over them. I guess you have to wait till they stand up or something but that shit did get me ultraed once or twice =(

I found something odd with Dudley. The only thing I could punish EX machine gun with was EX pinwheel. He could block everything else, even a jab. Also I could not get j.mp>dive kick>ultra II to work on him.

Forgive me if this has already been confirmed, but do Juri’s instant overheads, as shown in Alioune’s video, work on crouching opponents? I remember there was some contention over whether or not it hit close enough to the ground to hit someone while crouching.

Frame data is in, but you probably won’t see it in the Juri preview since it has it’s own chapter separate from the character chapter.

Juri looking a little like Rachel from BlazBlue CT, she can rush down and zone out. I’m loving that. Should be a awesome alt for me. I’ll have a lot of that purple stuff between her and Dictator.
