About myself: Very rarely played fighting games before SSFIV, having only owned Tekken Tag Tournament and Dead or Alive 4 and sucking horribly at/never learning them. Started off with Akuma at first, I think, and used him for maybe a hour or two until a friend suggested I try out Juri instead. I took the suggestion and instantly fell in love. Been using her and very slowly improving since.

About Yourself: I’m a man whose spent the good amount of his life being a sheltered lil’ idiot. I recently got my hands on a PS3 and BBCS:EX, but upon realizing I lack a certain understanding to FGs, I decided to give that game up. That, and after playing SSF4:AE at the new SRK League Arcade Center in Eugene, I had too much fun to have any second thoughts. So right now, you’re dealing with a new fighter who doesn’t really know where he stands on the ladder. On one hand, I know how to pull off fireballs and such; on the other, I either don’t rely on them or just flat out can’t use them in a pinch.
Oh, and one last thing: I’m currently waiting to jump one of the stickhawks at the Arcade, because I’m using a pad right now (but tried a stick and desperately want to switch). But my life’s mastery has been on the keyboard - and I’m just starting to learn the way of Console Style FG gaming.
On a final note: Juri all the way. Neither Ryu, nor Ken, not even Akuma, will have their fangs on me. I belong to Juri-sama and Juri-sama alone!

Fell in love with fighting games by the shear frustrations of always losing to my cousin as a child. Been playing since SF 2 and never tried to really grow until SF4. About Yourself: I’ve only been playing this game for the past few months, and admittedly never took Vanilla SFIV all that seriously, but I’ve been playing fighters since Alpha 3 (though was 2000-ish and I was like 12-13 getting into it), and have a bunch of varied game experience from when my first fighter EVER was “Fatal Fury Special” as a little kid, to others like Soul Calibur 1-IV, Persona 4 Arena, Blazblue, Guilty Gear (a bit), Capcom vs SNK, MK9, and off and on with KOFXIII due to lack of people to play it with. Also, the primary command notation I’m used to is the numeric kind as I typically have things out as 236236C as opposed to say, QCFx2 + Strong. I also sometimes accidentally ramble as you cam probably guess.[/FONT]

Skill Level: C+ rank (currently at in the 41XX BP range). I would say I’m slightly above average. I can hold my own fairly well against very skilled players (A rank or higher). I usually manage to win a round against them. Never won a full match against A ranks though.
Secondary/Alt Characters: Ken, but I very rarely use him really.
About Yourself: I don’t mind losing against better players. But I’m not going down without a fight! Arcade sticks are not for me, I play with a regular Xbox controller. SSFIV was my first SF game and Juri was the first SF character I played with. Never looked back since. I tried other characters but aside from Ken I don’t really think any other character plays well for me. I’ve come a long way with Juri, but I’m always looking to get better!
I come out on top during mirror matches quite often- even against higher ranked Juri players, so I don’t see myself as a bad Juri player. Would love to have more mirror matches though! I think it’s good to have someone else play as the same character so I can analyze his/her play style and see if there’s anything I could add to my own game. :3
Oh and yeah, I own the Juri statue in my avatar, I even got her signed by Ono this year! I really hope they’ll make more Juri figurines in the future.
