Please provide a post of where I said that the D-Rex wasn’t “Jurassic” enough? I want to see this. I said that they needed to be real Dinosaurs, not genetically altered ones. As for the original Jurassic Park dinosaurs, Frog DNA was used to put in the missing parts for the Dino-DNA…that’s it. They did not genetically Alter or Enhance the Dinosaurs to look different nor be different. Two completely different scenarios here. T-Rex wasn’t walking around with a Triceratops frill or whatever.
Look at that leaked D-Rex picture again…No Giant Theropod Dinosaur that looks like that has forelimbs or claws that long which from the looks if seems to be like those of a Raptor. If that is not genetically altered, then I don’t know what else is.
Once again I would like to see the sources of where you’re making these claims that more people knew about Spinosaurus then Charcarodontosaurus. Let me Educate You. During the 90s, the dinosaurs that made the BIGGEST splash in the media was T-Rex (Sue discovery in 1990), Giganotosaurus (around 60-70% of it in the Holo-Type Specimen in 1995) and Carcharodontosaurus (Because of the skull Sereno found in 1995). It was by FAR more well known then Spinosaurus was up until the release of JPIII.
Regardless of JPIII being a bomb of a movie (which it was), the Spinosaurus did PUT people in the seats and prior to it, the name for this theropod was even less known then that of Carcharodontosaurus who made head ways the decade before going into the next Century. Now Spinosaurus is a house hold dinosaur name? Why? JPIII? Case and point.
Plenty of people care, hence why it’s being debated. So in your case, let’s just remove greater importance of the dinosaurs even more, by throwing in a Mutated Monster that bares no real resemblance to what we would see as a natural animal? Gotcha.
Because that already isn’t going to be the OBVIOUS scenario for this movie anyhow already right? Lol. How else will the dinosaurs not get out unless either by some bogus nonsense or human intervention in JW? Come on now, the plot for this part isn’t going to be very deep for any JP movie.
Because I want a sense of legitimacy, not a poorly portrayed flick that doesn’t provide quality of how Dinosaurs would’ve been like. It’s obvious you don’t truly care about the Paleontological aspects.
They could’ve easily spliced it up with “Never before been seen in a Jurassic Park Movie”. They could’ve done this and Easily Given Them Liberties.
It wouldn’t matter to me, because my movies would still come out with greater quality to yours because I would remember to carry the essence of what made it great in the first place. Lastly, Keep it about the Topic, this is the not the first time you’ve made things into a personal agenda.

Funny, because from what I’ve read, you’ve totally missed what made the original JP great.
JP was more than just a monster movie with dinosaurs. At its very heart, it was a science fiction movie, on that was on the harder end of the scale compared to stuff like Star Wars or your typical “sci-fi” TV show. And like all good hard, science fiction movies, it posed an important question about the power of science and the consequences of its misuse.
Im not disappointed, I just do not have high hopes, last jurassic park movie was crap. And they are just making stuff up now since there was only 2 books.
That’s true, but the big selling points were the Dinosaurs which is my main point of the argument and the fact that they weren’t “make believe” but actual skeletal remains that existed on our planet at one point in time. The whole Science and Responsibility abuse was great but with the new concept, you’re removing the quality of the Dinosaurs for something that is truly make believe. Once again, when you’ve gone down this path, how can the selling points which were the natural dinosaurs over step above your Monsters? They simply won’t be able too now, because the next flick you’ll have to have even more Mutant Dinos.
For me personally, I would’ve made UtahRaptors as the Main Antagonist in the new movie for the humans (w/ the Rex always being the heroic dino as how Spielberg once stated) because they are much bigger then Deinonychus which obviously are the Velociraptors in the JP movies.
Not only are they bigger (Velociraptors in the movie were about 150 to “possibly” 300 lbs, however the Utahraptors would’ve exceeded the 1000+ lb range, making them far more imposing as a pack0, but it would actually make reasonable sense for them to wanting to chase and run down humans because we would fit the prey size that they would take down. As I said so many times over, you could’ve achieved all that you kept wanting by simply adding new but Real dinosaurs that never existed in the past Jurassic Park movies.
However, as before, We’ll have to Agree to Disagree since we don’t have the same viewpoints on the matter.
That was InGen that did all that nonsense. That company went broke because of it. But this new company bought up all their shit. They made a park. It’s at least a decade LATER now. People in the movie universe are likely tired of the same old T-Rex. So it’s time for the company to (stupidly) make a new dinosaur. Hate that fact all you want, THAT IS THE INTENTION OF THE MOVIE. To make you hate that they made a fucking Franken-Dino. A job the film makers seem to have accomplished already.
Those dinosaurs are still there. This isn’t an island of genetic abominations (techinically). They just happen to have ONE abomination on the island. The D-Rex will still show up as the big bad, but you better believe the other 99% of the island is probably going to be something to worry about, too.
I’ve read early script drafts for Jurassic Park movies involving militarized dinosaur’s (believe it or not, these were supposed to be for THIS movie), as well as half human half dino crossbreeds. You better believe that shit is going to be attempted in an upcoming movie, or maybe even this one.
If we take that the original movie happened in the 90s, then it’s been 20 years since that incident.
Also, since the promotional sites say that the new park opened in 2005, then it’s been running for at least 10 years now.
Which bring us back to the D-Rex. With that decade long successful run of the park, there needs to be something special to make things go to shit. Especially considering that we know that there’s someone playing a Dodgson/Nedry role that does something to fuck things up. I’m guessing that Vincent D’Onofrio’s character is either trying to steal the hybrid dino DNA, or something related to it, which causes all the trouble.
Heck, the militarization might even be part of it.

Here’s another point to ponder regarding “real dinosaurs”.
In JP3, Grant says the ff. line “Now what John Hammond, and Ingen did at Jurassic Park was to create genetically engineered theme park monsters. Nothing more, and nothing less.”
With that in mind, then you can say that there never really has been a “real” dinosaur at the park. They’re all just living theme part attractions genetically designed to attract park visitors.
when this film ends they should show a scene where they skip forward to the year 3019 with a religious man arguing about the fact that the genetically-modified hybrid dinosaur was a creation of god in a church with the people getting up and walking out one by one from his bullshit speech
that way so when everyone who sees the new Jurassic Park movie knows damn right it wasn’t when they also leave the theater

I am not a big fan of the mutated Dino’s either. It just isn’t necessary and it is hard enough to believe they would let them re open that park let alone risk some Rodan like like Pterodactyl come flying out of it lol.
I am still checking it out just a bit more skeptical with this premise I hope it is solid.
