Is anyone playing Jump Ultimate Stars for DS seriously?
Its got a lot to it, and I’d like to have a place to discuss strats with actual players. (Gamefaqs kiddies still havent figured out 3-koma Trunks and Seiya yet).
I have the game, but haven’t played it seriuosly yet either.

Still lots of good characters, and the supports also can balance out character useage as well. In addition to Trunks and Seiya, 3 koma Sena is awesome.

Im having trouble getting past the 4th mission right at the beginning of the game (I just got it). I have to wait for some retard pirate to stop telling me a bunch of shit in japanese but then I get lost and dont know what to do.
Uh…if I import this game can I still play it Wi-Fi? I’d hate to buy it and be stuck with just mission.
If you want to get through story mode, just use the story FAQ from gameFAQs. Thats what I use, and its pretty easy to follow it.
Regarding the WiFi question, yes you can definately WiFi if you get the game. The only problem is the distance, seeing as how theres two modes labled “Battle Japan” and friend mode. Unless you live in Japan, your gonna get hella lot of lag playing BJ. The only other method left is to play people via friend code, which is pretty smooth if you get somebody somewhat close to you.
Don’t forget to throw in Super Saiyan Dan Patch under god tier. That man is serious cheating, even without supports to help him out.
Also, Raoh’s up y + seiya assist that freezes chars = too much brokeness for this game.

I dunno… while those listed in the god tier are quite good, theres a lot of other characters that are a pain to deal with… Kenshin, Gintoki, Sasuke, Renji, Nami and Lenalee come to mind here :\
God Damnit Lenalee and Sasuke are broken.
So far my favorite characters are Sasuke and Ichigo. Ichigo is stupid combo friendly and dumb fast, it’s perfect for my style of play. >_>
Sasuke isn’t broken at all. His combos can be broken with a support. Lenalee is wide open after her ring out combo if you simply block it.
Sasuke’s combos are high damaging but can be stopped… Lenalee is an issue due to her high speed and mobility but nearly has to rely on the ring-out combo due to her low damage.
Raoh, Kenshin and Don Patch are amongst the biggest problems, fukken ridiculous damage and I die fast as hell >(
Kenshin? You mean Kenshiro maybe? Let’s not also forget Momotaro, king of ringouts.
add Kenshiro to that, but Kenshin is still a pain cause of speed + that damn stun combo + ring out ability.
allowing you to use supports while getting hit totally ruins this game
it’s worse than playing a doa game, nothing at all is guaranteed
can’t argue with that. You can seal their support… but that’s about it.
still fun, though 
i have the first one and i plan on getting this one too as soon as i get my hands on a ds lite. i was stupid and sold my ds thinking i could get a ds lite easy and they are sold out everywhere
