Hey guys, I had mentioned that I was going to be releasing info about this but kind of procrastinated on it. Here’s the info for all that were looking to attend that day.

Date: Wednesday, July 4th
Time: Starting at 12pm
Location: Immortal Gamers League, 5790 Rogers St. Las Vegas, NV 89118
Entry Fee: $10, this is to cover costs of food for the BBQ and drinks that people will be having. It’s honestly all you can eat/ drink. The drinks and food are gonna be there with some others and myself grillin’ up. Come take what you want. I should have t-bones, hamburgers, hotdogs, and bratwursts.

This is a pre-event that I’ve been wanting to hold before Evolution. I know how my first Evo was 10 years ago when I barely knew anyone at the event. Back then Evo only had around 400 - 500 attendees. Now it has grown to sizes probably around 20 times that amount. This event will be for new attendees and veterans alike. It’s to make sure people get that last minute grind session in before the big weekend, but at the same time have everyone get to know one-another. Now when you show up to the ballroom on the first day you won’t feel so nervous or leftout since you know a couple people there. We will also be having multiple tournaments running for all the games that are being showcased at Evo. The space should be pretty big and hopefully it’s not too hot or windy that day. Also, from the location you get a beautiful view of the strip so we should be able to see all the fireworks go off which all starts around sunset. So come down get some games in, get some food and drinks, and get to know everyone. Hope to see you all there.

Payouts for all games is 70/20/10

Any game that does not get a suitable amount of entrants will have the match format changed to a round robin style tournament

Players using any wireless pads or sticks must desynch them after their match. If not and this disturbs a match this will lead to a disqualification.

Slight typo in the event posted. It’s supposed to be $10 for entry, food, and drinks. Not $20 as it was previously stated. Fixed. Please start posting up and RSVPing so I know how many people I should expect to show up. I need to know how much food and how many drinks to buy.

Id like to go, but I arrive in Vegas around 2pm on july 4th. Might miss the tournies and stuff. Plus I have no ride since im flying in.

Tournies will start later on in the night. I don’t expect them to start around 5pm - 6pm. We can probably arrange for someone to scoop you if need be :).

Yes I am definitely going to attend this! I am driving over from LA on Wednesday morning so should be there for the whole thing! Only problem is that i dont have my own stick with me as iv been traveling for the last week and a bit. Could i still enter the tourney and borrow a stick? I was looking to pick one up at evo! Thanks

Hmmm can someone from vegas hooked me up with a ride also to this place, i will be arriving on the 4th also.

I should be there with 1 other person. it might be possible to split a cab from the strip with someone?

So word has definitely been getting around about this event. As some of you have seen Dios X and Mine have confirmed that they will be there for the event. There are some other notable names in the fgc that will be attending as well. There are a lot of people from the SCV community that will be attending including Singapore who will be rolling 10 people deep. I’m trying to piece everything together, but every time I get confirmation from people it seems to get bigger and bigger lol. See you all there.

I’ll try my best to get there, I’ll probably arrive in Vegas around 2pm or something, then to the Imperial and then to find a way to get there. How expensive are cabs in Vegas? I’m wondering if I should rely on them while I’m there.

^Ditto, I’m interested in making my way to this, is a taxi a good option for making my way around?

Cabs are probably going to be your best bet. I’d say meet up with people and just split one.

This sounds awesome! This is indoors, right? Your comment about “hopefully it won’t be too hot or windy” confused me.

No, this is out doors. BUT I am renting some shadings and out door industrial coolers for the event. We had a BBQ about a week back with the same thing and everything turned out just fine. The out door coolers made it feel really nice.
