how did this thread turn into a 360 vs PS3 thing? there’s good enough competition on both ends… babbling about which console has the best vega’s doesnt help with what TC was asking for.

im not disrespecting you or other PSN vega players sure ders good competition wit psn vega players also but IMO i think ders more competition wit vega players on xbox dats all dont take it personal meng 
I intentionally said what i said because most of us are on xbox (more competition like jay said). But i also wanted everyone to come out and represent their consoles and talk trash (in a friendly manner of course). Nothing personal, i know there are good players on ps3.

on topic: Emblemlord , wich country are you from? I live in Europe and dont want to play intercontinental for any kind of serious reason, just messing around with friends, because my vega depends on reactions wich are destroyed by latency in intercontinental play.
off topic:
the list of top10 vega’s is impossible to say… for instance: i can say that from the vega’s i met , kamisama and jay are the best in mirror matches… but its impossible for me to say wich one is the better vega (even between them) untill i see them play all 35 match ups against good players of those characters.
I have faith that i can be near the top vega’s in some match ups and near the bottom in others (honda, balrog,bison, gen, chun,rufus come to mind for matches i fucking suck in)…
That said vega mirror is not one of my better known match ups, so everyone here wont think much of me

In the XBOX/PS3 war, I gotta go with XBOX, and I don’t think you can say anything until you have both, and you’ve played the same game online with them back-to-back. YOU CAN REALLY TELL THE DIFFERENCE!!! The xbox is so much better! It looks better, connects better, and “feels” better. I think that is why there is more comp on the XBOX, because it is the more popular console. So more people play, and so you have a better chance of running into someone that is awesome then you do on the choppy-connection PS3. I still like my PS3, but when it comes to competitive fighting games like SSF, I gotta have it on XBOX now.
Hmmm… Good Sagat you got there, I hate the Sagat vs Vega match-up too much effort on the Vega player’s end I found myself getting more and more impatient as you started to find different ways of keeping me out and forcing me to make so many careless choices. Instead of blocking properly I even tryed to ST when i thought there was an opening in your block strings and got stuffed straight to hell or caught by a mean ass combo lol, I felt really pressured when you had me in the corner switching between lows and over heads kinda left me stuck at times even perfect me a few rounds, i can’t really say i’m happy with my performance though i feel like i practically threw away some of those matches from being stupid … but all in all it was fun playing you! GG’s!

Ehh… I’m joking… I take full responsibility for my irrational choices. EL, u better be some kind of tournament player or something lol. None in my entire year and a half of gaming has ever gave it to me the way u did. But… for that I thank you! At last weeks WNF in Hollywood a Ryu friend of mine took 26 in a row from Shizza, HTG (Hand To God) he claims it has made him a better player. And yet though I only (“only”) took half that amount I can just hope to be able to say the same too in due time…

I remember playing Shizza pre Evo. Played 20 matches. First 10 he raped. Later I understood the match up and always got close, but chocked during the punishment that should have won me the game. He single handedly made Chun match up, not that bad.
BTW Emblem Lord, ill try and steal my friends SSF4 for PS3. Lets see how that ends up for me.

Almost every other Claw I know finds it pretty much useless except for maybe an occasional cross up (in which I abused…). But I find my success rate to be rather high against the slower char (gief, t.hawk, etc) and being that it’s not used much by others, it kinda catches my opponents by surprise. I refuse to drop any of Vegas’ moves as he is the only char I enjoy using, which means I have a lot of sorting out to do! lol
Oh and I went back to the replays… better add 2 more to that half.:nunchuck:
