I have a better idea, try following through on your thread and learn Ryu or Sagat! Or somebody higher up the tier list at least…
Cams, since you’re not playing tonight, want to go get some beers? Weeks, I know you’re working 'til 11 but after that how 'bout it? Maybe we’ll have better luck over last night…
OMG I swear I don’t care what your name used to be, from now on you’re Jackhammer. That’s what I’m going to call you here, that’s what I’m going to call you in person, that’s what I’m going to call you when I see your dad at Walmart. “Where Jackhammer at? Where he at???”
Cams: to continue what we were talking about, I really like the feel of Jackhammer’s Mad Catz with the Sanwa 8-way, so I’m seriously thinking about buying an SE for $70 and dropping in the 8-way plus buttons for another $45, so there’s $115. I’d prefer that to a TE because I want the 8-way (no homo). So there’s my “precision stick” for Tekken and Street Fighter, with my EX2 as a throw-away stick for Mahval (we all know how hard Mahval is on sticks).
OR…I’ve got my Tekken 5 Hori that cost me $40…I might see if AJ can dual mod it for PS2 and 360 (say another $50?) plus the cost of the Sanwa parts = $45 plus his normal cost to mod that stick with Sanway parts = $45…so that’s about $200, but I’d have a nice Sanwa’d stick to use on PS2, PS3 and 360…what do you think? With Tekken 6 coming to 360 I don’t really need a PS2/3 stick, but I’d prefer one for my old PS2 games like Tekken, Soul Calibur, Super Turbo/etc. I want to get that light dash down pact on TTT.
Well decide soon jackhammer, looks like triv could possibly use your stick…(all homo) Anyways triv I think you should either mod out the t5 stick OR do the madcatz stick. Or maybe both…just depends on what you want. I’m going to mod the ex2 for sf and tekken…but I want a big battleax like and hrap for mahvel. But jackhammer here may make a decent offer on that SE…so we’ll see.
lol I’m disappointed in Marvel on XBox…it’s very choppy, a little laggy and there’s weird stuff going on. Definitely not an arcade port. Oh well…I’m glad I didn’t sell my DC!
Didnt seem too bad, but BEWARE against cable…I’m pretty sure it’s not possible that you can superjump and block an AHVB close to the ground. I’m sure everything will get ironed out w/an update.
That’s the type of stuff I’m talking about. Along with, I can’t remember who did it, but I think Ben hit me with a guard break that normally wouldn’t guard break And it seemed like I hit Ben with quite a few AHVB’s that shouldn’t. And Magnus, OMG, don’t get me started.
It’s funny though because, honestly, I could tell Ben was on his game and they really shouldn’t have been such close matches as they were, but I came out closer and I think a lot had to do with the lag/choppiness/glitchiness.
Cams: FUCK THAT. Why do we need patches and updates and 2.0’s and shit? There was no Ocarina of Time 2.0 (Majora’s Mask doesn’t count). They used to make video games complete back in the day! You’re telling me that NINE years later, with all our advanced technology, our twitters and our Rasberry Ice Tea cell phones that we can’t port an exact copy of an old 2D fighting game? :annoy:
