Not going to lie, I skipped parts when I first got into reading the series. JoJolion had just came out that year and I only knew JoJo through heritage of the future. I read Jojolion first, then SBR, then jumped to Battle Tendency and then followed the Vento, Stone Ocean and Duwang.

Many fans got familiar with the series because of Capcom’s stylish fighting games. And didn’t find out or read up on earlier entries until many years later. For the longest time i didn’t know the Ripple or Pillermen existed.
Anyway, the ranking still goes:
Battle Tendency > Diamond is Unbreakable > Stardust Crusaders > Golden Wind > Phantom Blood

Seemed like Ripple became almost completely forgotten in Stardust, kinda hated that part. Seems like Ripple plus Stands would be a lethal combo to use but it never happened

I was waiting for that to happen in the final fight with DIO, but never happened. It made the end make less sense, especially with Vanilla Ice going out the way he did.

I can believe you haven’t read SBR yet. You’re like the OG JoJo fan around here. I also could have sworn you had rocked a Gyro av back in the day.
I loved Battle Tendency and before it used to be above Stone Ocean for me, but over time Stone Ocean overtook it because it’s fucking excellent. Diamond is unbreakable is lower maybe because I read Duwang version first before the retranslation project. I still like Duwang as much as the next fan but maybe that’s why I have it lower than some others.
