Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Don't Say Wrry Edition

You literally missed the whole diamond is unbreakable chat here on srk before the shutdown.

Golden Wind is dope.

I mean toonami itself put my hero academia on at 3 am despite it getting good ratings. They also fucked up one piece

Cn should have toonami back in the afternoons

Late night is for summers. They always do this

I just saw Golden Wind episode 38 & 39 and… WTF…

PLEASE tell me there’s another episode to capp things off and add closure cause, WTF.

#BlueBalls

Nope, technically the ending was the previous episodes but they went flashback to this arc because it signified the theme better then the final fight.

Ending felt rushed and they focused a little too much on this flashback crap, left no time for anything else. He NEVER even meets jotaro or finds out who his father is for fuk’s sake!!!

The last 2 eps were cool

It was not as brutal as the last 2 seasons, but giorno was never that type.

I wonder if we get some destiny’s child for next season

Flashback was cool

But damn on golden wind has that fugo side story they might give rohan treatment to

Yeah the flash back at the end was questionable. Is it the same way in the manga?

Jotaro wasn’t important at all to the story. He and Koichi is only used to connect part 4 to part 5 in a transient manner. Neither is it about Dio, it’s about the overthrowing of a boss and being a GangStar.

@Sacr3D In the manga it indeed ends with that story of rolling stone. It signifies the meaning of “fate” and being able to determines one own fate even though we’re all slaves to the inevitable. This philosophy is personified by GER, which is a foil of King Crimson.

WTF. Then why set up the start of the show the way they did?!

The show was great and all but, the entire time i was also looking forward to the eventual meeting. When diavolo is defeated, and Giorno & Jotaro FINALLY meet and he learns of his past and Dio.

If none of this shit really mattered to the story, then why in the Holy Fuk did they make him the son of Dio anyway?! OMFG :rage::rage::rage::rage::rage:

I am by no means a legit JoJo expert but the creator does not like doing the same old shit. He uses the conceit of the family but he really just likes to tell crazy stories.

Then don’t make him the fucking son of DIO! Make him a new stand character entirely. Christ, he may as well have been an entirely new character with no relation to the rest of the series now. And for everything else they fought for too…it just seems so f’in abrupt and with minimal payoff, to just END like that. No closure episode to see them carrying on? More of a glimpse of Gionoros time as boss? etc.

Oh and, HE NEVER LEARNS ABOUT HIS FUKING DAD! Let’s not forget he even had a picture of DIO in his wallet.

The Blue Balls! By gawd, they hurt!! Owwwwwwwwwwww :dizzy_face:

You are mad about a 20 year old comic in 2019

No, i’m mad about a brand new adaptation in 2019. Source Material be damned. There have been examples of the adaptation changing or having added material for the BETTER. But even going strictly from your argument? So be it.

I’m mad about a 20 year old comic in 2019… whose ENDING F’IN SUCKED!

I know they say it’s the “journey and not the destination” but, horseshit. That does not excuse the ending from having a competent payoff as well. Which this show DID NOT.

I’m tempted to put Golden Wind dead LAST on the JoJo ranking after this but, it remains as such:

#1- Battle Tendency
#2- Diamond is Unbreakable
#3- Stardust Crusaders
#4- Golden Wind
#5-Phantom Blood

lmfao stay mad bro.

I will. Shitty ending was shitty. And being 20 year old material does not excuse it’s flaws. Thats what some of you don’t get also.

I get that you guys are JOJO fans too but, don’t just eat up whatevers given to you.

This is some reverse DIO meme shit lol

Really, Jotaro also showed up in DIU and did jack squat there too. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone from Golden Winds shows up in the later stories same way Polnareff or Koichi did here too.

Giorno being Dio’s son was really just the creator’s way of putting a twist on having a Joestar protagonist. This is as close to Dio as you’re gonna get from Golden Wind.

Near the end of Battle Tendency, that death hurt my lil feelings :disappointed_relieved: :sob:

The part of battle tendency that irks me is nazis acting noble

Jotaro had a nice role in Diamond is Unbreakable. He was even around during the final battle. And they may as well have not brought up the Dio stuff to begin with, if they were never going to touch on it again for the rest of the fukin’ show!! :rage:

Just edit out all Dio mention. It would change nothing. But they DID go out of their way to make that Dio connection at the beginning! They DID make it a point that Jotaro was intent on tracking him down! So they should have done something with it and paid that off.

I mean, Christ, from the very beginning they were using the whole Dio connection shiat to make us interested in and care about this fukin’ character and his journey!! OMG. What a shitty ending.

You may enjoy the next story arc, if they do the anime for it, since that has a more solid Joestar and Dio connection.
