I really enjoyed Season 1, but Season 2 wasnāt where I wanted to go when I came along.
It is funny from time to time, but S1 was actually an interesting tale, while S2 is so light-hearted that the suspense is on the level of something like Pokemon.
Assuming you never read the manga.

Been catching up and watching this on crunchy roll. I lose it every time Jonathon Joestar freaks out and screams something in english.
Joseph is the best, even in Part IV he had me rolling.
I want a super cut of these two seasons with all his freak outs.

Think I finally convinced a friend if mine to watch Part II. He didnāt like it cause no Stands lol, but then he marks out for Old Joseph and his shenanigans.
I just told him Joseph as a teen was just as, if not more comical while fighting what are essentially Gods and he was in.
I tried to read Part 4 diamond is unbreakable before, but couldnāt. Every site has tiny small ass text and I have to shove my face to the computer screen just to read the text. Hopefully they do the anime for part 4 next.

the stardust crusaders anime is almost about to end. they just finished beating dāarby younger and i have to say that iām quite excited to see how david productions executes the last few battles.
also, old joseph shouting āhooorrryyy shiiieeet!ā was hella funny. i almost wept from laughingā¦

So this far into Stardust Crusaders and i have to sayā¦
Battle Tedency was a LOT better! Stardust has the whole stands gimmick and a ton more characters but, Battle Tedency was just way more exciting and interesting. You felt for the characters and sense of urgency against the threat they faced.
Also that Joseph Vs Wham fight > Everything on Stardust Crusaders (so far).
Seems like every stardust fight happens the same way: The characters have the odds stacked against them with some incredably powerful stand or unusually intelligent opponent but, always pull some insane solution out of their ass to win it.
It makes it tough to really beleive Jojo & co are ever being threatened, because you just know its only a matter of time before they casually āYu-Gi-Oh!ā their way out of a situation.
Its still an awesome new adaptation but, Battle Tendency was just a lot more interesting.
