Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Don't Say Wrry Edition

He’s only read up to Part 3 and played the Part 3 fighting game, so yeah lol. I keep bugging him to read Stone Ocean, since I think that’ll be up his alley, then slowly get him to read the rest.

Asking him to read the worst Jojo’s part ever. Some friend you are.

Can’t wait for parts 4 and 5…

EPs or its not true.

finished watching Part 2 anime, and it didn’t really dawn on me when reading the manga, but Joseph has to be the luckiest of any protagonist ever…

Spoiler

random red stone, random eruption, random hand hazard, random rocks, random ocean save…dude literally had max Luck stat all the way through that series.

Sucks he gets kind of shafted in later series…imo.

Joseph wasn’t given an OP stand so he was doomed to be fodder for the rest of Jojo’s.

Thats not how you say part 5

Part 5 had the best crew and most competent henchmen

Part 4 is sorta the worst for me, though Kira is a great villain.

Part IV is greatness, don’t make me Hamon Purple you to death!

Joseph was fine in Part III, and I really enjoyed his time to shine in IV. Just he was outclassed from the get-go. Hell Star Platinum was so busted for the longest time.

Hopefully they keep the fast pace from the first season. That was IMO, one of the best things about it. None of the usual shonen slow pace (since there was no need to slow it down for the manga).

I’ll probably get some hate, but my least favorite part so far has to be 3(haven’t read part 8 yet); save for some of the character designs and the final stretch in Cairo…So much of it felt like filler: random stand dude sent to fight 5 different stand users, has seemingly broken stand power that is eventually beaten miraculously or Jotaro just beats the shit out them regardless, rinse and repeat 30 something times.

thats like every Jojo fight from part 3-6.

I don’t really see you getting any hate, basically everyone here agrees with you. Can still enjoy Part III and criticize it. It is my least favorite arc as well, but I really enjoyed the second part of the story when Dio and his entourage popped up. Also the comedic scenes scattered throughout were well done.

Works for me…used to most people getting uppity when I say I wasn’t a fan of it, granted most people I talk to just know the OVA.
Iggy is the truth though, one of my favorite characters in the entire series…

Spoilers for whole series:

[details=Spoiler] I always see people bemoan what happened to him later on, but I never found he got shafted personally. Yes he got a bit slower mentally at part 3,but considering he was 69 it wasn’t that bad, and he still had his moments. After all he was at that point 29 years older than any other JoJo (basing this off Jotaro because I have no idea how old George was when he died, tried looking it up but couldn’t find it) in the series managed to reach, and he was only a little behind them mentally. Most of that extra time was spent peacefully, with no real issues other than being bummed that his daughter lived in Japan.
He was senile in part 4, but for all we know senility could run in the family and he was the only one to live long enough to have it happen to him.
Sure he had a couple of moments later on where he was not on top of his game, but in the big picture he has been the only one to live a full happy life, thus IMO he was the only Joestar to not get shafted.

It seems like they would take years to get to JoJoLion, so they can take any pace they want really. As long as it ends up good.

That’s how I feel about Parts 3 through 5.

I wonder how they’ll handle Iggy’s thoughts on the Petshop battle.

Announcer like in JJASB.

Just started watching part 1 and 2, pretty new to the series outside of the game, and randomly seeing Chinatown bootleg VHS tapes of the very ending of the old part 3 anime. This is some wild shit.
