Thanks for that by the way. Seriously though SRK has been a pain to deal with lately.
Yea and itās gonna get worse soon as doing some kind of update, or software change or something, Iām too stoned to remember exactly.
You shouldnāt have looked in the bag man. When you seen those spoiler tags and that big ass wall of text you should have used the Joestar secret technique: Get the fuck out of there with the quickness. Iām super sorry you got spoiled though. Makes me wish I didnāt post my impressions on the ending.
Against dioās broke ass stand was lucky to be crawling away imo
My eyes scan things instinctively and pick out key points, not my fault he used spoilers and not spoiler lol.
Steel Ball Run
[details=Spoiler]I wouldnāt consider Dio in SBR as just being tacked in there to preserve his role in the Jojo universe. I wonāt deny that fan service plays a part in his role as an antagonist to Johnny, especially when he returns with āThe Worldā. However, he also plays a vital role in Johnnyās character development, as well as one of the key players in advancing the plot. It wasnāt necessary to call him Dio but Jojo but it doesnāt change the fact that the character was vital to Johnnyās development throughout the story.
Thereās something to be said for his loss since that corpse signified the culmination of his journey both physically and spiritually. I feel that if more time was spent flushing out the skimmed over details in the ending I would have been much more satisfied with the end results. Thereās different ways to interpret the events of the final volume but I donāt want to dwell on it too much. I think thereās truth within your comments; however, I canāt fully agree with him just like how you canāt agree with mine.[/details]
Read through everything thatās been released with Jojolion.
Jojolion
Spoiler
Iām very intrigued at how much of Steel Ball Run will tie into Jojolion and I wonder if Araki had planned things this far out or if heās just going to retcon the connections between the two stories. I might be more content with SBRās ending if thereās some greater significance to it in Jojolion.
SBR
[details=Spoiler] *Good ole SRK ate my original post so Iāll try to condense what I originally typed.
Diego was absolutely crucial to Johnnies developement in the story. He was analogous to Johnny in respects to their pernicious relations with their fathers and their natural talent for horses. Diego served as a constant remainder to Johnny of what he could have been and Diegos well mannered decorum provides further tension between the two. Alternate Dio on the other hand I think had more in common with āregular universeā dio in being a bastard. While I enjoyed the final showdown between the two I didnāt much thematic subtext out of using that representation of Dio from my interpretation. *
While yes we disagree and agree on certain things about the ending I think itās a good barometer of how good SBR was. Not just as a piece of entertainment but as a artform.[/details]
Jojolion connection to SBR
[details=Spoiler] *JoJolions connection with SBR were just reaffirmed in the latest chapter since it clearly depicted the family trees going back to Johnny Joestars marriage to Higashikatas daughter. Also there is one MAJOR plot point that havenāt been explained yet that hugely effects both stories. HOW THE FUCK DID HIGASHIKTA SURVIVE THIS?**Seriously not only did he survive he finished the SBR race in 2nd place and we seen him looking fit like a bull in the final pages of SBR.Sure itās possible that he survived Sandmans stabbing but he sure as hell shouldnāt have been in good enough condition to not get disqualified from the race AND finish the race. *
*It brings into question what was his stand (if he had one which knowing JoJos he probably did) and what significance does Johnnies marriage to his daughter play in shaping the family schism between the Higashikatas and Kujos. *
*Also this is a little on the ancedotal side but Araki explained that the ālionā part of the āJojolionā name is in reference to the christian believes of blessings and the gospels. Itās also a reference to the old greek myth of Pygmalion. That might be a hint to wear this story is headed in the future and it continues his use of christian symbolism in his last 4 works going back to Vento Aureo. [/details]

Higashikata
Spoiler
Hot Pants probably healed him up.
Yea I just started reading this myself. Started Battle Tendency just tonight. So far i really like Joseph lol.
Not sure if anyone knows this yet, but the full version of the 2nd opening theme is out.

Also, Iāve been holding out on watching the anime since episode 11 because Iām gonna wait until Iāve got a handful of eps to watch back-to-back. In the meantime, is there a good place to read the JoJo manga? Iām still way behind in the story and Iād like to catch up. The site I used to read it at started acting weird and there was this other manga site that had the chapters WAY out of order. So if anyone can help me get my JoJo manga fix, Iād greatly appreciate it.
Looks good, but I canāt seem to download any of it without it telling me to upgrade to MediaPro.
hmm strange :S. I dunno what to tell you then other than just google it suppose
Episode 14
Spoiler
Ceaserās fabulous self is finally introducedā¦and he shows it in spades this episode; also reminding me how Joesph and their hostility towards each other gave us some funny moments. While his voice actor is a newcomer, he got the character downpat.
The rest of the Pillar Men look great too. Masters have been awakened and all that; though Iām pretty excited to see the hamon duoās first confrontation with Wham.
Also, RIP Mark.
I normally do tons of pics but episode 14 was so dope art and music just nuts, any word on when we will get a OST???
One pic:
Shit just got real!!!

Just speechless!!
Okay, apparently the full-length version of Bloody Stream is fanmade. Props to the guy who recorded the second verse though, it sounded real enough.
Why do they have to pose soā¦gay?
Iām not sure if youāre trolling poorly or just totally unfamiliar with Arakiās work.
The second one
Because Araki loves flashy battle poses.
