The part with Zeppeli tiger kneeing the shit out of Jack was probably the trippiest yet most manly shit I’ve ever seen animated. I really enjoy what they’re doing with this anime stylistically.
“Speedwagon withdraws coolly” has to be the best line in the entire episode.
I’ve always preferred the game voice (Isshin Chiba) to the OVA voice (Nobuo Tanaka). Though I’d love to hear the drama CD version (Norio Wakamoto).
Yeah, same here. On top of making Dio sound really sinister and suave, Isshin Chiba’s voice also had a layered effect that fit very well.

Norio Wakamoto has done an excellent job in Dragon Ball Z Kai voicing perfect Cell.
Plus he also voiced Jedah, that doubles his awesome.

Finished Part 5 and I think I’m almost finished with part 6.
First half of part 6 was such a grind to read through but the latter half is turning out amazing. Though granted, the author did do a hell of a good job of making that prison one hellish and uncomfortable place.
I missed out on part 2, 4, and everything past 6. I’ll wait til the animation of part two comes out since they’re already doing so well with part 1. Can’t get enough of that god damned opening.

Just finished watching JoJo episode 5…
Holy shit, I am so hyped right now! One of my favorite moments from Phantom Blood is the epic clash between Zeppeli and Dio, I was hoping the animators would do it justice and they did not disappoint! Speaking of Zeppeli, I had forgotten about him trying to unlock Speedwagon’s ripple energy and failing miserably. 
Also, Bruford and Tarkus have joined the battle, shit is definitely going down!

They actually got into Tarkus and Bruford’s backgrounds without cutting anything out; pretty cool. A lot went on in terms of action this episode so it was rather enjoyable. Zepelli facing Dio, Speedwagon being a bro (and a potentially good sports commentator :lol:) and Jonathan unlocking more of that ripple power.
