*Gravity seems to be NORMAL IN THE CORNER AGAIN - I tested it with Joseph rekkas xx super (they dont fall through anymore)
*TK commands are also back (tested with Kakyoin)
*Instant overheads are back (tested with Narancia jM)
*Throws do different damage according to the character
*Autocombos do the same damage as before (tested with Phantom Blood Dio)
*The bf~df trick to do Stylish Dodge still exists
*Super jumps will no longer be buffered when performing a jump from a crouch position. (tested with Caesar)
*You can now CANCEL NORMALS INTO GHA (huuuuuge change)
–Command normals may not be cancellable into GHA (example being Narancia 6C)
*You can now CANCEL NORMALS INTO STAND for the cost of 1 meter

*Joseph can now cancel his sweep into specials

Diavolo’s burst costs 1.5 METERS (thanks Slamtastic and Turbovec)

DIO’s burst now costs 2 METERS
*Bloodsuck gives less meter now
*Joestar specific taunt only gives 1/4 meter now

LisaLisa change ?: The sidestep option after her 2nd rekka chain (the spin that lets her do a 2nd rekka again) might be faster. I dont recall being able to do 236A, [5A, sidestep] over and over (doesn’t combo of course)

Not sure but Caesar’s jB and jC might be harder to cross up with now.

anyone here mains Kars like me? i find his 236H a bit weird… it seems faster on the second hit but if you do it on long range it will not go behind the opponent (and won’t hit)

I think that’s a fair compromise though seeing as Diavolo has better usage for his meter in combos in this patch.
Instead of knocking the opponent down and away, his Standoff 236atk causes crumple now which can be puttsuned for extension.
Diavolo can also puttsun cancel the end of his command grab and follow up with j.H, 2H, 6H xx623atk
so despite the burst nerf, he feels more solid overall.

The way they’ve gotten around jab infinites in the corner is that jabs just stop hitting after 7? hits of them. they just won’t get hit by anymore

Notable changes:
-Some characters can’t rapid fire 2A anymore
-10-15% increase in damage overall
-You can now cancel normals into GHA
-You can spend one bar to cancel normals into Stand On.

Can Hol Horse Tiger knee shot again? I tried earlier, doesn’t look like you can. Also did Bruno’s Stand On Zipper projectile cause a knockdown before? I think it used to crumple.

so, they totally made throws leave the opponent on the ground for longer. you can see their fall animation is slower. this is awesome. it lets the person on offense set up better oki or more easily do a taunt combo for more damage. there’s seriously so much good stuff in this patch. jesus christ guys I’m like gonna cry

Everyone can cancel sweeps now…tried it with Josuke, Iggy, and PB Dio.

Right now I know Iggy can do LMH,Son,LMH, qcfH…but the damage isn’t better than going into a super/putstun.
