how to get atl costumes
Campaign. Beat the bosses till their main HP gauge is 0 and you’ll randomly get a costume, taunt, manga noise.
That PB Dio was me, I’m still learning/messing around with him. And to the person who said you can only jump cancel out of the last hit, that’s wrong.
You can jump cancel pretty muuuch all of dio’s moves except the 2nd and third hit of the rekka(if you go into the overhead mixup, that can be super jumped on block) or the sweep or a super.
So if your qcb L/M ice kick gets blocked, you just super jump to saftey or super jump up and go for a double overhead(if the opponent isn’t good at instant blocking).
I think he’s punishable on it if they land near you at the wall/corner. Free stock is still decent though.

No the third hit of the rekka series can be super jump canceled you just have to do it at the end of the animation after he launches the opponent.
I should of said On block, sorry. lol
You can’t cancel the third hit on block at least when I was testing it anyways.

I’ve got my copy and just finished unlocking all the dudes between me and my friend. I LOVE Kars and Akira which I’m happy about. Even Pucci is pretty fun and awesome. But I can’t do any combos for Kars outside of 5ABC2C>236C>HHA. Lol. I love his UltiKars trans but man I can’t make it consistent.
Akira is definitely weird but man is he fun. My gameplan is to combo into level 1 to get max charge, then overcharge while the opponent is knocked down. After that I either switch to stand ON on the next knockdown and standrush Red Hot’s 236 A/B/C.
Game is lotsa fun though, me and my friend were having a good time! and it’s just day one! For me at least lol.
So I’ve decided to play Jolyne for the most part but I cannot put cancel her air stand rush like it’s done in this video, does anyone have any tips for this?
Apparently, you can puttsun through stage gimmicks, I’m not entirely sure tho, someone be a dear and check please. I was playing Abdul doing a combo when I puttsun’d right through it.

To get those transformations off you pretty much need to send them fullscreen with a hard knockdown.
2A, 5A, 5B, 5C, 36C, 214C and just mash on GHA and once they bounce off the wall you’ll activate it.

Thanks a lot for that Rohan link dude, I’ve been binge playing the crap out of this game, I’m really happy to see all the attention its getting on Shoryuken so far, I’d love for it to get its own section. So far I’ll probably be sticking with Gyro as my main, but there’s so many interesting characters in this series I don’t know who else suits me as a secondary. But I’ve been playing a lot of Rohan lately and I sadly couldn’t agree more, he has a really neat gimmick with the seals and button locks but his teensy range, slow grabs and lack of stand off normals makes him the hardest character to use. I’m dedicated though since Rohan’s probably my favorite JoJo’s character, so I want to make him work to the best of my ability.
I’ve been waiting to see any combo videos or tech that I haven’t been able to figure out yet, I’d say I’m about as good as the player on the stream and when I predict right, it feels so good to win with him. lol Perhaps Hiroshi will consider a Rohan buff if he realizes he’s sorta weak right now.
