Yup, i think this will be my Game of the Year, not just Fighter. The awesome Trailers are hyping so much, i hope that they will show us some new Characters soon (Hoping for Lisa Lisa and good ol’ Stroheim)
Lisa Lisa would roooock. Stroheim would be a very welcome addition too, I mean…he’s like the best cyborg ever!
I really wanna see Rohan either as the story mode/narrator/main character or fully playable, which is at least confirmed by the rumored “leaked” Roster (he’s also the producers favorite character). Other good part 4 choices to me would be Koichi’s main squeeze Yukako Yamagishi and Shigekiyo with Harvest. I’d LOVE to see Yukako playable.
Wait there is a leaked Roster? I havent’t seen that one… and yeah Rohan has to be in the Game, he’s my favorite Character of Diamond is not Crash. I would love to see how he plays

Keep in mind this is purely a rumored “leaked roster”, from a quasi reliable source (they are said to be reliable but most english speaking fans have no definitive proof who posted it. It was posted on gamefaqs and 2chan a while ago and so far it has been accurate. They predicted Akira Otoishi, ACDC, Koichi, Caesar, Will Zeppeli and Jo2uke (JoJolion), it hasn’t been proven wrong yet.
Also we know that the producers favorite character in the series is Rohan (he cosplayed as him twice, had a giant statue of him by the demo, he’s in the reveal trailer), we also know Part 5: Vento Aureo is his favorite arc in JoJo’s, which happens to have the most characters in this leaked roster. Another clue is they mentioned All Star Battle’s roster as being done and decided for a while now and at this point they are just tweaking/bug testing characters and building hype because we have many more reveals to go! This makes me think a roster with more then 7 Vento Aureo characters and a game with over 40 characters isn’t SO far fetched anymore. At first glance 45 characters total when we’ve only seen 24 with only 4 months till release seems unlikely, but I hope this leak is true to be honest. Though I personally think Abbachio and Fugo would be better left out, and wish we’d get Stroheim, Wekapipo and Yukako, I can’t complain about how COMPLETE this roster would be with 45 characters. It has nearly everyone I could ever want in a JoJo game save for those 3 I mentioned.
We’ll have to see what happens, if this roster is proven false or not.

We’re planning on making a VERY extensive guide/character guide/translation for this game and have a lot of details/gameplay discussion already in the thread I just linked. I go by “thePachyon” there.
They still can be released as DLC right? So even if we don’t get every Character that is on the List, they can still give em to us as DLC - i would buy em fo sure…and please…more SBR Characters. Sandman ftw!

it’s alright, there are tons of people from around the world on the JoJo forum! :). Soundman, Wekapipo and Hotpants would all be excellent choices. So I’m hoping we see one of them in along with my man Diego! I’m gonna play a lot of Diego Brando if he gets in.

Also, I only played the original JOJOs and watched the new anime. Is Devo not relevant? I loved that character.
Devo is not relevant. He was a minor villain (an assassin sent after Jotaro by Dio) who fights Polnareff… and lasts about 4-5 chapters at most. Dio and Hol Horse are in the game and its expected we’ll see Vanilla Ice as well. I think that will be it as far as Part 3 villains are concerned (the arc that the Capcom game was based on). Which is mostly okay since those 3 are the only ones who are actually important to the overall story of that arc.
Seems like the last two demo’s (December 2012, and May 2013 respectively) people weren’t able to film. But there are some brief comments floating around on 2chan by people who got to play the recent builds. It all sounds pretty good but vague so far. I’ll post some of that tomorrow to get this thread caught up.
Hell Yeah Vanilla Ice! He’s my fav. in the Capcom Game. And the Chance that we get a Demo isn’t low. All the CC2 Games (only exception is dat .hack Game) got Demos, Asuras Wrath & the Naruto Games so maybe we will get a Demo before the Release and some new Videos soon

Keep in mind, its all opinion about how the game feels. Secondly, they mention more then once in that info that that they are balancing the game. They have balance in mind, and they’ve been planning a JoJo game for almost 7 years. I believe they can be trusted to bring the best JoJo game possible, so I’m still pretty optimistic that it will be very fun even if there are a few bad match ups. Hopefully we won’t see the second coming of Petshop!

Did you mean to post this 3 times? Also I find this person’s last paragraph very biased and opinion based. The supers are blatantly NOT as long as either of Ibuki’s (at best close her to Ultra 1). Ultra 2 is her long super so…don’t even have that straight. In that department and 30fps I honestly don’t think its gonna make a huge difference. And with balance I think we will have to wait and see since they most likely are judging based off unfinished demo where they only got to play 6-7 matches.

So how do you guys feel about the people who only know of the 3rd Arc storyline (myself included)
I was almost disappointed when I got into the anime and didnt know what was going on, then I got into it and I love it so much. I only know up until the end of the 2nd arc obviously since I watched the new anime but I love the introduction of AC/DC I wouldnt mind Cars as well.
Is the next season Jojos going to start at chapter 3? I’m excited about that.
Next season of Jojo’s is going to be part 3, yes. That was why they ended with the shot of Jotaro in jail. I personally can’t wait for it.
I’ve been trying to write a blog post on my thoughts about the character notes but I end up getting too excited every time I try and then I run around and pretend I’m Star Platinum for a bit, but I will try and get something out at some point.
