not sure about that one in particular. there are a lot of ones where only the first hit is considered a projectile (Johnny GHA, Gyro GHA+HHA…etc) and is scaled accordingly but the rest isn’t touched by damage scaling.

Took me a long while to realise this, but I just figured out why sometimes when I’m using a stand character, I could do a deep jump in-attack, land and turn stand on instantly, and continue a combo, but other times I can’t turn it on as I land and the combo drops with the same character. I have to hold a direction to cancel the landing recovery to give me enough advantage to have time to turn on my stand on go from there. Funnily enough, I realised this “cancel movement recovery animation by holding a direction” for other things like dashes and sidesteps a good while back, but it never really clicked with some of the combos I saw using a jump-in into stand activation working the way they did. Sorry if this old, just throwing it out there in case nobody else realised this.
I know there’s at least six people with the game, but they’re all east of the Amway Arena.
I stay in Winter Park myself, but I don’t have a copy of my own (or a PS3 for that matter), so I wouldn’t be able to play you online or otherwise.
On paper Winterfest should have a tournament for it in the very least.
While we’re on the subject of tech that may or may not be common knowledge, the entire animation of Jotaro and Josuke (part 4)'s Ora Ora’s are completely invincible to the Hanged Man. If I had access to a training mode I’d see if this was a regular thing every character with an Ora Ora had against Hol Horse.
Anything to get him to burn his Hanged Man at the wrong time is a good thing, that move is fucking bullshit (and the reason I play Hol Horse).
Also, sometimes I get two Hanged Man calls from the same puddle. Like, puddle is out, I can call Hanged Man as normal, but the puddle is still there and I can call him again. What’s up with that? It doesn’t happen terribly often, and I can’t figure out how to replicate it on purpose.
Yeah I think I will try and organize a cheapo side tournament at CEO Winterfest. Like $1 entry, winner-take-all, double elim at 8+ entrants, round robin at 7 or lest. Minimum 6 entrants for the tourney to make, otherwise I’ll just play casuals.

Never noticed that before, would have to try it out and see. Which Oras are you referring to for each, by the way? I know both their srk Oras have invincibility, unless you’re talking about their qcf Oras, which would be surprising.

I played around with that a bit recently. I got it to consistently happen if I had Hol throw the bottle but PC before he fires the gun, allowing the bottle to fly the full distance in the air. Then when it lands, hit the opponent with Hanged Man, and the puddle remains for another call (or another 2 calls, forgot how many). If Hanged Man whiffs though, I think the puddle would disappear like normal. There actually was a vid from when the game just came out that showed this off, would have to search for it.
I don’t play either of them, but I assume its QCF, its the horizontal rapid punches.

After thinking I would never be able to play this, I managed to find a cheap ps3. Just got the game yesterday, glad to say it didn’t disappoint.
so here’s a little something that happened during a avdol v. jo2ke fight last night:
Jo2ke’s did level 2 to poke through a block string. Avdol’s S/on 5C did not interact with JoJo’s projectile, so he got hit, BUT because they didn’t collide and Avdol’s 5C is that persistent flame breath move, Jo2ke also got hit. Cutscene did not occur like it would have with some other cutscene supers.
