That was Separation Anxiety, a prelude to Carnage Unleashed. Too many symbiotes spoilt the broth.
Edit: actually that ended in Separation Anxiety and started off with Lethal Protector, a Venom miniseries.
Double edit: The whole San Francisco thing started in Lethal Protector, but he fought the Ghost Rider rip off in Nights of Vengeance. I don’t think Maximum Carnage fit in with any of that considering it was definitely set in New York.

He can combo into web swing and combo out of it. Not sure if he can get the full magic series going into it though. I’d like to see more web throw and spider sting set ups. I can see the potential of web swing and web zip, but web throw and spider sting is still a mystery. Apparently spider sting OTG’s, but since he’s in the air he’ll need something like Wesker’s Samurai Edge assist.
Looking back at the gamespot character walkthrough, does the followup to Spider Sting groundbounce? Maybe I’m crazy. If Spider Sting followup ground bounces, and Spider Sting itself can OTG, does that mean you could maybe launch, knock em down, OTG with Spider Sting, SS followup, relaunch, etc? Would be cool it you could.
You can only launch off an OTG once.
