Jingwu Online is essentially a free online, chinese fighting game based on different martial arts style.
If you like 3d martial arts based fighting games, you’ll probably like this. The entire game is however in chinese (mandarin perhaps?) so it takes a little bit of tinkering around to learn how to create a match etc.

It’s the sequel to Kwonho that existed on Ijji games from waay back. A lot of modifications have been made since than including very little to no lag as well as starting off with a full set of moves whereas in previous versions you had to grind and level up to accumulate new moves.
Naturally there will be lag if you play against chinese players, the game is not designed to accommodate foreign players and so you might get in trouble if they realize you’re not from china~
I currently play with a about 4-5 people and we use a specific way of naming and passwording our rooms so that we avoid getting laggy play with the native chinese players.
Let me know if any of you are interested in this and I’ll post some screenshots with explanations of navigation through the game itself.
Here’s the update

And fill in the info as stated, this will create your account for you. Make sure you have east asian fonts installed on our computer

and you can choose between HTTP download, or a torrent download, once downloaded run the installer and install the program - preferably to the default folder it specifies (not sure how chinese developers do their thing so it’s safer this way)

After that, make a shorcut to the encircled file here, this file is the launcher you’ll be using. After that choose one of the two servers to play on - characters cannot be exchanged between servers. Click the big red button once you choose a server.

After that the login window comes up, straight forward stuff again, click the red button here, after this the game will patch itself to the latest update, and once again click the red button to start the game

Once you start the game for the first time on an account, you’ll be forced to create a character and go through the training mode. Once you complete training mode you choose between one of two channels, a channel for players between lvl 1-10 and a channel for those 11 and above
once in you can start making games. Since we dont really have a good lobby in the game, you can always drop by here http://ourkwonho.freeforums.org/portal.php , and use the chatbox to arrange matches (which is what i currently do)
I’m aware there’s some issues with people not being able to load the site, I’m unable to open the site from my internet connection at home but i can play the game just fine.
When I go to my university campus i’m able to access the site and play the game just fine. Not sure what the exact cause is, but all you really need the site for is to create an account, if you’re unable to do it I can do it for you~
Yes this game requires keyboard but i’d think something like Joy2Key or some other app can take care of mapping Joystick or gamepad to keyboard for you.
