Thanks Butters for the advice connecting the jb in the 5b, 5c, JC, jb, jc, jd. It also helped me tighten the timing of my 6c, dc, 5c, JC, jb. Now I have another problem, I’m having problems connecting the jd in 5b, 5c, JC, jb, jc, jd. It seems to always miss. I even tried letting the 5b hit twice to get the vaccuum effect but I still keep missing. I’m able to do jb, jc, jd if I mistime connecting the jb after 5c, JC by accident and lose the combo, so what am I doing wrong?
Make sure you start pretty close to the opponent. Also, when you jump cancel, don’t let the stick go neutral. Continue holding it in the 9 position as you do j.b, j.c, j.d, so that Jin is continuing to move forward throughout the combo.
Edit: Also, Tiggy, that av is awesome. Hope my guide can provide you with some good BnB’s to mess around with.
question wat does DP stand for ?
Dragon punch, dear boy. Aka, shoryuken. In BB terms, 623.
Jin’s fubuki is his DP.

Hi guys!
I’m new to the BlazBlue World I just got the game last tuesday and I’ve been loving it since.
I really like Jin’s Style, so I think that this is going to be my char.
As you can imagine, I’m a total noob… yet I really want to be good at this, and I will be coming around here to have the latest updates.
This is a video of me and a friend of mine playing:

We’re from Costa Rica If you can watch the video and give me feedback about it, I’ll appreciate it I know that I have to work A LOT in my cover
Just like to say that the first post in this thread is the best first post in any character specific thread EVAR!
Ahaha, that’s just great
EDIT: @o M3gaTRoN o
As far as combo’ing after it?
DC, 5C, JC, 5B, 5C, Ice Car works for me, but I think that “JC” might have to be a super jump in order to connect with the Ice car.
If you talking about how to incorporate 6C into a combo, then 5D, DC, 6C is your best bet.
@l Mephisto l
Mainly, you just want to read this thread a lot. Study Jin’s BnB (Bread and Butter) combo’s, and it will all start to come together.
Go into training mode and crank the difficulty up to wherever you feel comfortable (Where you feel you can win consistently) and practice his BnB combos on the CPU.
Try 5D, DC, 6C, DC, 5C, JC, 5B, 6C, 214C as your first BnB combo, and if you feel that’s a little over your head, search around this topic for something more simple to start you off.
Like I said, once you learn a couple of combo’s the rest starts to fall into place pretty quickly.
Thanks a lot! I do employ the 6C-DC-C-JC-B-C-9-B-©(214B) but since it has a jump, its a little harsh for a noob I’ll go for the one you recommended then!
Nifty. Will have to remember that against Tager.
5d, 5c, and 6b all combo into 6c, but only on counter hit (or when the opponent is crouching). Of course, there is always freezing shenanigans too.
Read the first post, hopefully that can be a good starting point for you.
Also, don’t burst so early.
Thank you. :wgrin:
no wat i ment was … is there a wat to combo into 6c
Oh, thanks for watching the video! That early burst was a mistake, we were having some initial lag and I mashed all the buttons and when the game became normal again there was no turning back
Thanks for you support, I’ve been reading this topic a lot! I’ll recommend it to my friends too
I think we all bursted really early back in the GG days. Get hit by 5.Dust BURST.
Also, I think we need to start getting in the habit of shifting to the new air combo BnB of j.C, j.D, air dash j.B, j.C, B Ice Car. Does more damage then the standard air combos but remember this is only applicable when the j.D will freeze. If you froze them once before then finish with standard air combos.
Also, I’m absolutely loving this as my corner throw combo and it also does the most damage in comparison to the standard combos you can do in a corner from a neutral throw.
[CORNER ONLY]
Neutral Throw (2 hits), B Fubuki, 5C, sjc j.C, j.D, air dash j.B, j.C, B Ice Car. Does 2.8k damage and is really simple to pull off and still ends in knock downs for oki games. Alternatively if you are looking for better position for pressure you can do 5C, 6C, 6D, dash 6D, 5B (2hits), 5C, 3C and use C Ice Sword for oki games. The damage you do is nowhere near as good as the other combo but gives better options for corner lock down games with C Ice Sword. As most of us know if the opponent tech rolls forward or stays neutral C Sword will hit and can be combo’d. If the neutral tech or tech roll backwards they have to block which could lead into dashing in with another neutral throw.
6C can only be combo’d after hit confirming on a crouching opponent (counter hir or not) or on a standing opponent if you counter hit with a 5C.
eg. crouching opponent.
2.A, 2.B, 5.C, 2.C, 6.C->standard Jin BnB.
or
CH 5C, 6C->standard Jin BnB
If you are close enough to your opponent then Freezing with anything followed by 6C will work as well. Point blank 5D into 6C’s will work but not recommended since 5D is used as a poke. It’s just something you would follow up on if you catch your opponent with a 5D if they dashed in your face or if you happen to get a close CH 5C into 5D. There are better follows up from a CH 5C then 5D but just in case.
Interesting. Still, I think the standard air combo (that starts with j.b) should be used more frequently due to it’s horizontal range.
Like I said, use 5D, DC, 6C, BnB
There are other ways, look at the first post, very helpful stuff.
EDIT: Ahh, Killey is correct, do what he says =p
@l Mephisto l
No problem.
It can be tough, but the more you do it, the more muscle memory begins to take over and then it’s like second nature.
