What’s up everyone, my name is Kevin aka BIFU | Slob Murph and I have been running Monday Night Fight Nights at the Nerd Palace every Monday for the past couple years. I have also helped out with various tournaments, most notably for the old school “Jersey Shoreyuken” series when Street Fighter 4 first made its debut. On March 16th, we will be continuing the Jersey Shoreyuken Saga with our 13th installment, “Jersey Shoreyuken 13: Battle by the Boardwalk.”

When Is it?

Sunday, March 16th
Starts at 3:00 PM
Ends at 9:00 PM

Casuals & Registration will start at 2:00 PM
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2v2 will start at 3:00 PM
Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 2v2 will start at 3:00 PM
Street Fighter X Tekken: Ver. 2013 will start at 3:00 PM
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Singles will start at 5:30 PM
Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Singles will start at 5:30 PM

I will be there at 2:00 PM, so if you want to play casuals, you are more than welcome to come early.

How much does it cost?

To enter Jersey Shoreyuken 13 you pay an entry fee, there is no venue fee for tournaments at Nerd Palace! All money collected from entry fees go 100% right back to the winners.

Venue Fee - FREE
Entry Fee - $5 for AE 2v2, UMvC3 2v2, SFxT Singles
$10 for AE & UMvC3 Singles

How much can you win?

1st Place - 70%
2nd Place - 20%
3rd Place - 10%

Simply put, if there are 40 competitors that pay $10 to play AE, the prize pool would be (40 x $10) = $400. If you come in 1st place, you will receive 70% of the prize pool, or $280.

What gaming console will be used?

Xbox 360

Standard EVO 2013 Rules will be applied:

hello. I’d like to attend this event. Would just like to no an average turnout when u normally do an event. Only cause I’ll be coming with my nephew all the way from long island. And there’s nothing worse then driving hours to a venue and 5 people show up and turn right around and drive hours back home. For nothing. Day lost.

hey, the most we have ever gotten is 60 people. I don’t expect to get that type of turnout because Final Round in Atlanta is the same weekend. I can, however, guarantee 25 people! Hopefully thats enough!

Ok. sounds good. We’ll be playing marvel teams and singles so I hope most of them are marvel players
