I realized that the shipping charges for the XBOX ONE PCB was $6.99 and its about $1 too much. I have lowered this to $5.99 on the listing (this is for US Only).
Hey? WTF? I Pre-Ordered mine and paid $6.99!
I will be sending you the $1 refund! Probably in the form of a $1 bill with your order If you are like me, it’s the only cash you will have on you.
Why the change?
A small Flat Rate box is only $5.80 for shipping. The box is free. I have a lot of packing material that costs very little. PayPal takes 3%. I’m not interested in making money off of shipping. Packing up orders is part of the cost of doing business. This isn’t in response to anything particular, it’s just good sense to be transparent with shipping and making it worth your while.
Great! When are these things shipping?!
FedEx updated their tracking info and of course it says Monday. I should have kept my mouth shut so that I didn’t jinx it. Unfortunately, I did and it looks like delivery is by Monday 3/31. All orders for the PCB will get packed up and shipped that day.
Do I really need this? Isn’t Akishop working on upgrading the PS360+?
Yes, they are WORKING on the upgrade. Its not done and despite some misleading information available, there is NO ETA on this being released publicly any time soon for XBOX ONE or PS4. That being said, PS4 is supposedly working and out to beta testers! Akishop recognized the value that @Phreakazoid brought to the table with the CrossBone and got a source for bare PCBs at a great price. If you want your stick to work with an XBOX ONE, a PADHACK or CROSSBONE is the way to go for the immediate/near future.
Lindbergh Panels went into production today! The price of quality cases and panels is that sometimes you get a lot of orders… this past week or two has been no exception. You can download the art template (Vewlix only right now) to start working on your graphics here:
Thanks 'stang! I love doing this stuff… sometimes I want to pull my hair out when I get something close but not quite… but when it all comes together I jump for joy! I wish i had a cab to put some of these glorious panels in!
Question, I saw you were working on a supergun pcb on your blog, is that something you planned on offering to the public?
I am interested in making a supergun, mostly wondering if I should decide to hold off a bit longer for an easier solution or start picking up the part list you mentioned.
Unfortunately, the PCB SuperGun project stalled (significantly) because I haven’t been able to incorporate everything into it I wanted. Specifically, an onboard video encoder and sync cleaner. The idea of having an external encoder is OK, but I’d rather integrate it right into the circuitry of the SuperGun. Additionally, the power inputs is also a concern. I wanted to have a simple external power supply but haven’t been able to find one that’s strong enough or has all of the voltages needed. Naturally, i could simply built a power section on the board to handle the varied voltages, but it costs time, money, and board real estate.
Alright, thanks for the heads up. Is that parts List you made on that blog still valid for the most part? I saw you made some changes to your cps2 style / shape supergun case.
I plan on buying your case to have a clean set up.
I have all of the internal guts for the SuperGun on my site so you can order it from one spot and save a few bucks on shipping. Don’t need the fans/switches anymore… everything else you do. The only thing I don’t have is the JROK and Sync Cleaner. I’ve been trying to carry them for a bit but can’t get JROK to return all of my emails… understandably, he’s busy. I do have some NEOBitz encoders that I need to pick up from the local solder house… they dont fit the MK48… only the MK30!
Those Egret panels look even better in person… I got some games in with Jasen and paid for my panel, and couldnt help but go shopping, lol.
I got some time at the Jasen’s Customs Store over the weekend and had my self a sampling products.
The Panzer’s are really solid heavy sticks that are good for both lap and table play, and the graphics printing setup was crazy overwhelming.
I started the weekend with a Japanese Tekken 5 Hori stick, and ended up with a carbon fiber wrapped panel, custom printed Capcom logo (cant help it, I love them), a new bubble top, some smoke 24mm buttons, 15 foot usb cable and a ps360+.
Still need to finish my internal wiring and then I’ll have a great “house” stick for guests.
Did up a pretty sweet TE2 Stick Art Print today. This is the first template for the TE2 based off of MadCatz provided PSD. My vector artist and I recreated the vector from scratch to make sure it worked properly with the printer. Going to send this out for a test fit. If it’s good to go… I’ll list it up for sale at www.JasensCustoms.com
Shop is officially closed for the week. There are a few PFS that are inbound from the shop that will ship out when I return. Additionally, when i get back the Lindbergh Panels should start shipping. Still waiting on the artwork to arrive.
As I travel to Japan I will keep you all in mind. I have a few things to pick up that will add some more custom awesomeness to the shop when all settles down.
As always, thanks for the support and being a member of the Jasen’s Customs Family!
