Does the Japanese Hori Street Fighter IV stick (with Ryu and Ken on it )work on USA or PAL PS3s? Thanks to anyone that might have one!
Hardware is not region locked.
All HORI Real Arcade Pro are made for Japan.
But there is no Region Lock.
Well not really all HRAP are made for Japan.
It was only a little ago that HORI(U.S.A.) got the HRAP 3 and HRAP EX.
There is now Japanese HRAP 3 and HRAP EX.
There is now American HRAP 3 and HRAP EX.
All HRAP before and from Japan are Japanese.
We just get them imported to us.
But nevermind all I typed.
The HRAP Street Fighter IV will work on NTSC-U/C and PAL PlayStation 3.
No worry.
but i see sellers on ebay saying the sf4 hori stick for xbox360 will only work on asian models
There is the PS3 Street Fighter IV Stick.
Which is for the PlayStation 3, and is HRAP 3.
Then there is the Xbox 360 Street Fighter IV Stick.
Which is for the Xbox 360, and is the Hori Fighting Stick EX2.
Both can be used on any Region Console of their respective Console.
The people on eBay are typing that the Xbox 360 SFIV only for NTSC-J because they using a general Auction template of theirs.
PlayStation 3 games have no Region Lock.
So the PlayStation 3 can play any PS3 game.
Xbox 360 games do have Region Lock.
American Xbox 360 with NTSC-U/C Xbox 360 games.
Japanese Xbox 360 with NTSC-J Xbox 360 games.
