The Ryu player named “Sakura” isn’t his name. He just put “Sakura” because that was a Game-Inn-Sakura (arcade) casual/local player. That Ryu is just some random that plays at the arcade.
Then it makes sense that he got wrecked like that.
There was also some Ryu named Jiloja or something like that. I can’t find him again.
I’m just curious who are ppls’ favorite new/all-time JP players. I REALLY miss Pinoab7, but for the most recent tourney players, Furo’s up there, along w/ those whom I’m consider to be part of a newer 3S generation, such as Kazuya.

Now I can occasionally recognise the characters in my favourite player’s names (The “Yama” from Yamazaki, for example), but I won’t lie: my Japanese is non-existent. So I was watching some SBO3 footage from GodWeapon.net and came across a Hugo I’d never seen before (at least, I certainly don’t recognise the name by sight). Here’s a screencap, sorry for the crap quality:
I had to go through the name one character at a time and try and copy and paste them from other sources to recreate the name, so it could be very wrong, but this is what I think it is (except for the last character which I can’t find for the life of me):

Anyway, would someone mind completing this for me? Also, I’d appreciate a translation. I got Google to have a stab at translating what I was fairly happy with, but it was utter gibberish so I’m still in the dark as to who this Hugo is. Although perhaps it’s a gibberish name anyway!

EDIT: Sorry, another request. I remember seeing a really good Hugo some years ago called Kitakou or Kitako. Do you know what the character translation would be for that?
I think it’s ‘?’ as in the dude’s 25 years old. Definitely hard to make out though.

I’ve decided to start including english names in the list just so folks can easily see and look to search for these players if need be, any omissions give us a shout, I’m sure there’s loads 
TheShend, are the english equivalents on the new players something you haven’t had a chance to do yet or do you need a hand with the Japanese? I’m not great, but I’ll give it the 'ol college try if you want a hand.
I think it should be mentioned in the first post that Kuroda is the best as every character
lol i was thinking similarly when i was going through. i was expecting to see him listed in each character but for some reason only Q and akuma? i understand his specialty is Q but why put akuma and not everyone else?
Have you seen him playing any other char than Q and Akuma in a tournament?
No, because he uses Q as his handicapped char and Akuma as his real winning character. Its pretty much a fact that hes the best as every character. They released like player ranking things by character and he was #1 as everyone and pros still learn tricks for their characters with his dvds
i don’t even know why i’m posting about this but eh
i would say he’s the best sf III player in the world (as corny as it sounds) but not the best with "every character"
his denjin ryu is truly godlike and his ibuki is really good
but his oro or necro ? they are not as godly as Q,ryu,gouki
pheraps he simply doesn’t like oro very much,what do we know
and,yes,i have played against him and watched his dvd’s and watched him play tons of matches at game versus
after all is said and done my opinion is that Q is his “main” kiara
it’s the character that best suits his playstyle
as a final note : all the japanese players can use at least half the cast (other than their main)
so this discussion is kind of pointless anyway
