SBO will be held durning Tokyo game show at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on September 17th.
Hmm I could actually go on the 18th to the 19th. I guess Tougeki will be over by then though. Still might check out the game show on Sunday. Anyone going to be there that day? Would be interested to check out the local arcades in the area too.

Sorry for being off-topic but I would like to ask if there are stores in tokyo or somewhere near that sell sanwa buttons on retail? I know akihabarashop.jp but I would prefer not to buy online from there since i just asked a favor from someone and time her time in japan is limited.

ordering online wont take that much time anyway… and if youre in japan, just order directly from sanwa(i used to order from sanwa site, but i think they have an official store on rakuten.com), they ship pretty fast too, last time it took me like 2-3 days to get my stuff iirc

I’m here in Oita-city, Oita-prefecture until next summer. I’m learning AE and used to play BBCS2 (may pick it up, among other air-dashers). I know of the local Taito Station that’s near Oita Station, but would anyone happen to know of any other arcades?
Hi everybody. 
On this thread seeking advice. I’m trying to get to Japan, or rather, trying to go back. XD I went to Osaka for study abroad in 2008, but unfortunately it was only for a few weeks. I’d like to stay for much longer – unfortunately I’m a little old for study abroad now (27), so I’m probably going to have to look for a job. The only real job placement on foreigners I know is JET program, and they seem to be pretty hard/competitve to get into. Plus, (not to be negative about it, but) frankly I don’t know if I should be working for them or looking for a higher paying job to start paying back student loans (pretty sure they’re not much higher than everyone else’s though :P) Any other facilities/websites I should be looking at besides JET?
At the very very least, I’m saving up to be able to at least visit for a couple of weeks next year

My boss lives in fussa and he owns a video rental shop in the BX next to 430. I might go out there to go check out his store and what not… when i do I will PM you to see if we can hit up some consle gaming.
