the train lines here are the best in the world… its really not that scary once u figure out where u are and where u wanna go. also, use this site: http://www.jorudan.co.jp/english/norikae/e-norikeyin.html
its the same as the route planners we have on our cell phones so use it as much as u can.
i have no idea where hikone is, sorry. do u mean hakone?
i have zero experience playing mb or arcana so id be pretty useless. but if u wanna get some 2spicy comp goin, im def down for that, hehe…
also, kinda a shot in the dark but do any of u guys wanna learn hiphop dance? or do u know of anyone who would wanna learn? lemme know.
They still have it, I happened across it somewhat inadvertently last night. Luckily, Issei speaks English so I ended up entering the 3v3 tourney and playing till 1:00 AM.
If anyone else wants to play some 3s late night this week, please let me know.
I should have gone to Shibuya yesterday instead of staying in Akihabara playing at some place called “Hey.” Club Sega didn’t even have a CvS2 machine… lots of GGXX:AC though, which unfortunately I don’t play. Japanese sticks are so sensitive, and I still haven’t gotten used to them at all. Lots of times it looked like I just let stuff hit me because apparently I’m not blocking according to the stick. Got a pretty good streak on SFA3 (couldn’t believe people actually still play that) before I was left to finish the game, SamSho2 (10 yen per play was a dream), didn’t do so hot on ST (charge fireballs come out like 50% of the time for me).
Will try to hit Shibuya today or tomorrow night. Is it worth purchasing a day pass for the subway system? Those fares added up a lot traveling around the city. Also, my brother and I want to go to one of those maid cafes. Which one is a good one for foreigners? We tried to find one in my book called “Cos Cha,” but were lost in Akihabara.
Food in general, should the first words out of my mouth just be, “Eigo wa hanase masuka?” We saw a whole bunch of curry/ramen shops, but were too intimidated to just go in and sit down and look retarded trying to order. Well, day 2 is about to start, so we’ll see how this all goes.
Yo went yesterday,?Nitto, MOV, Genki, Issei and others were there at which Shibuya one i forgot. But ya ill be at the one u go downstairs and where upstairs they got ufo catchers. If u see a guy wit a Bape shirt thats me. Im visiting from Canada but i speak Japanese. My names Tak. If u see me ill help u around since i can speak both englisha nd japanese. Im about 6foot and im japanese.
Damn it’s alot of folks in here now!
Well I’m about to take a holiday from my job real soon. If anyone wants to come up to saitama and play at my spot this Friday… Let’s get it together. These are the games I have…
If you have a stick I strongly advise you to bring it!
Also, I know I’m asking alot… But it’s summer guys! We can go to the game center when ever. Who is down for some FOOTBALL in Yoyogi or Kokukoen Park this Sunday?! I mean just think about the following reasons:
#1 You prolly need the exercise. #2 It’s summer time and the mini skirts are out! #3 Don’t worry some much about getting hit. We are not in the U.S. so don’t expect to see a horde of Micheal Vicks, Reggie Bushes, and Tom Bradys out in the park. Your “C-Game” will look like “A-Game!” #4 We could prolly walk into the park like BOSSES! On American size standard, SRKers are a short herd. (This information I have calculated based on attending tournaments throughout the years…) But out here in Japan, we prolly look like MIGHTY BISONS on the MESA! #5 See reason #2 again!
anyone play that new 3d/2d game? keep forgetting the name… the one with the rpg kinda characters and a parry. looked boring as hell but i actually played some today and its pretty fun.
football is a great idea… but im completely dead on sundays. seems like ill never meet u guys unless u go clubbin, haha…
Football? Man, American or European I’m not interested, but if you want to play some Basketball I’m down. I haven’t played since I got here, so I probably forgot how to dribble but…
man, ive been trying to find a public basketball court in tokyo for over a year now but it seems like the only courts exist in gyms and company recreational facilities. id be down for basketball if someone ever finds one.
