I was thinkin about goin tomorrow (Monday) to play 3s. We could meet up somewhere on the Yamanote Line and we could go together, im down whenever.
Gamers Vision Directions (These might not be perfectly accurate)
I know how to get there from Nishi-Nippori and Shinjuku. Both stations are on the Yamanote Line.
I’m not exactly sure on the spelling of the train lines, but its close enough. The lines are kind of hard to find in the train stations, but if you ask anyone at the stations, they’ll show you where the train line is.
From Shinjuku, you can take the Shonan Shinjuku line (not sure about the spelling of that) to Yokohama, a 25 minute ride.
From Yokohama, take the Sotetsu line to Nishi Yokohama. The Sotetsu line was kind of hard for us to find, just look for signs or ask someone if you can’t find it.
From Nishi-Nippori take the Keihin Tohoku Line to Yokohama, a 30 minute ride.
From Yokohama, take the Sotetsu Line To Nishi Yokohama. Sotetsu line is kind of hard to find, ask someone if you cant find it.
Gamers Vision is in Nishi Yokohama, its close to the station, when you exit the Nishi Yokohama station, you’ll be over the trains cause youll have to go up the flight of stairs. Right after you pass the ticket office, go left onto the overpass bridge that goes over the train tracks. When you get on the other side, go down the stairs, and go left towards the street with the stoplight. Cross the street, and go right. You should see a black building on your left, turn left when you see that black building, from there you should see a sign that says Gamers vision on your right. Music games on 1st floor, Fighting games on second floor.

I wrote a lot more than I needed to, just to be on the safe side. The number to gamers vision is 81452605785, they’ll help you with instructions on how to get there, but they dont speak english.

However this trip is just too much for me to do often. I live in Saitama. Shinjuku is an hour + ride for me. So Its a total of 3 hours of traveling for me or more to go to G vision.
But yeah It would cool to meet somewhere else . I can’t go today because ill be in akihabara.
But it would be cool if we could all roll down to G-vision at some point on a weekend. I think it would be really fun. My only weekend in July thats busy right now is like 15-16th. I can’t do that if there is one that weekend.

but until 4am? the first train dont start until 0500 though, or i may be wrong for the ikebukuro line…

Thosse stairs look like a real hazard. Someone should definitely pass an ordinance forcing them to be fixed. Also, I’ll be going to school in Yamanashi for a year. I’ll be there July 3rd, and I wouldn’t mind chillin with you guys too.

hey ya’ll, it is my b-day on 07 07 07 that would be next saturday. i am gonna head down to the arcade saturday afternoon for a bit and then me and a bunch of my friends are going to a nomihodai (drink till you get fucked up) from midnight untill 0500. the cost is 2000Yen per person for you 5 hours of free drinking + whatever food you buy. only a coupple ppl speak engrish, so you guys can either learn the fast way, or just speak english with the other gaijin there. just hit me up if you are down to come and get faded for my b-day, or if you just wanna play some SF.
the place is right by shibuya kaikan (hachiko exit) 3 minutes away from the HMV.

dude i havent played that game since SNES, but i see some killer players at kaikan, but there are only like, 1 or 2 cabnites for that game. you mightve seen me if you go to kaikan alot.

On another note, is there a scene anywhere else besides Tokyo? I’ve never been to Japan so I don’t know the area well. I’ll be going to YPU, which I am to understand is close to Kofu. Is there anything noteworthy closeby?
