Anyone going here for cvs2 sometime this week??
I usually go sometime between 1p-3p during the regular week. I might show up this week on random days since I have a few things to do. What time do you usually show up?
Btw, the CvS2 fierce button on p1 side was out and so was the roundhouse button on p2. Have they been fixed yet?

What seems to be the best time/day to go play marvel vs capcom 2? I hate going there and sitting by myself playing the computer =\ What’s the condition of the cabinets? Everything running smooth?
Hows the comp? I might go later today around 6.
visited yesterday, sf4 is on point i was hoping the ssf4 console was gonna be setup, the linking between arcades is a super good idea.
btw the p2 marvel cab next to sf4 is fucked up i cudnt do any hyper combos wtffff

Is the MVC2 still messed up? Are people gonna show some time soon for MVC2? Don’t feel like going and sitting there on my own playing the CPU.
DAMN, I’ve been outta the loop! This is AWESOME. I also live in the K-town/mid-wilshire area, and JA is MUCH easier to get to, than ffa or denjin, for me. Hopefully, business will pick up over the weeks. It’s RIDICULOUS how a bigass, busy city like L.A. had NO big, busy, local arcades: just lame beaches to attract tourists, and they’re too dirty for swimming.
THANK YOU for having AM sticks. While I support the presence of JP sticks, I must be the ONLY person who prefers AM sticks by a longshot. I guess I just don’t adapt very well… 
I’ll definitely be at JA for some 3S when I get the chance. I guess no one plays Alpha 2/Alpha 3 anymore lol :looney:
I may or may not be here tonight, visiting. I’ve got a party to go to in Los Angeles and I may make the extra venture out here.
Great to hear that this arcade is making a comeback; I used to play SF2 here 15 years ago! I will try to suppoert and swing by some night next week for some SF4.

ComboFiend and Dash happened to be there. Dash was playing a ton of characters and Combo was whooping me with Remy. I dunno if they’ll come back, because they just found out yesterday, just like me, that the arcade changed owners. It wasn’t crowded, but there were at least 4 good players 
I’d love to record some matches, but my camera died last night before I could use it 
I propose that the 3S/SF4 players show up on Friday night (or Sat. night, or, preferably, both…). I was there from around 9-11 pm last night.
The cabinet on the end had a little trouble on the 1p side, for dashing and doing supers; 2p side was much better but sometimes crouch block wasn’t happening. I need to go back and test the H2H next to it.
Nathan, if you could check out the sticks on the 3S H2H U.S. cabs, that’d be great

If you’re worried about being rusty or about footage of matches you lose, don’t worry (I trash the matches where the controls obviously altered the outcome of a round). I thought I was gonna get creamed after almost solid months of inactivity, and I not only had fun, but did better than I expected. I also try to record the best matches, and/or where something cool happens. I usually manage to capture wins by every player. Further, I find your Alex intimidating O_O
This could just be the case of “I’ll show up IF you show up…”, based on what a lot of ppl are saying lolz. I’ll post before I go, next time, and I’ll estimate when I’ll get there. It’s more fun when you can replay the cool matches, anyway.
Japan Arcade?
Hi there people, I’m new to Shoryken. On Saturday the 11th I went to Little Tokyo with my fellow officers of Anime Club to do our tri annual trip as I am the President. We browsed around till we then go to the Little Tokyo Galleria, seeing how my first impression of Japan Arcade 3 trips before was a run down arcade with Japanese Imports that was completely empty and a Raiden machine that would eat my tokens… :wonder: . Now that I have returned with great news, its awesome. >:D I checked out the place as I then realized it was under new ownership and the place is now blooming, 3 consoles to play from, the machines are back to working dew to constant maintenance keeps them running smoothly. Overall I would have to say the place was packed, my members loved it, and a friendly owner named Ralph that recommended me to Shoryken. Progress is in work and work is in progress so we should all support them. They are getting back on there feet and running faster than sonic, plus they have snacks and drinks to buy. I am so recommending this place to the evo fighters at school so prepare for a swarm. Thanks Ralph and random asian guy that runs around doing maintenance (And getting the token out of the machine when it ate it.) , keep the awesome work up. ^^
