Wassup folks! This is Ryan with an “R,” the Dhalsim player.
The tournament was awesome and was a great way to meet people in our area. I’ll definitely be attending as many tournaments as I can. Getting 9th, I did better than I thought I would, though I definitely need to up my game a bit. I’ve only been using Sim for a month so we’ll see how it fairs in next months tourney. I didn’t feel so bad losing to the defending champ, and I was pretty close in the “casual” I had against the current champ.
Being the “new guy,” I was a little intimidated to play any casuals after the tourney was done but I’ll stay and play more next time. Overall, great job with the tournament and hopefully I get to session with more people soon.
I need to subscribe to this thread, I never seem to know when fights are going on. Whose Astro City is that @ Tapioca Express? I can provide a SSF2TX setup for tournaments on that if the control panel’s setup for 6 button play.

. Just hang around to play casuals next time. Keep an eye on the Sacramento thread for any updates regarding local events and the like.
Probably a better idea to subscribe to the Sacramento thread here; each thread is usually finished after the tournament’s over. That Astro City belongs to one of the owner’s siblings. To my knowledge, it is setup for 6 button play. He’s usually around every TapEX SSFIV tourney, so you could talk to him about it there.

Sang and I tried to set up a TriSync chassis so we can play using VGA but we failed on that (he is sending it back for repair). Just in case it messes up, he is planning to do an SCART to Jamma plan.
Can’t wait to play in the next two! I will bring JoJo again!
If you guys need any help, bring it to my garage. Just go straight right out of the parking lot past the park and I’m there. Literally a minute away.
I could probably even host matches in my spare room. Though I don’t know the lag on my projector so someone’d have to bring setups.
