I talked to my friend and he seems a little disinterested in playing, he’s more of a Marvel fan anyway. I’ll let you know if anything changes. He’s coming over tonight so we can practice a bit and get me ready for this tournament (my first one btw), so I’ll talk to him more about it tonight. He might just drop by after work to check out the scene and show support.

When MvC3 comes out, will you guys be holding monthly tournaments for that as well? It would be nice to have an SSF4 tourney on the 1st week and MvC3 tourney the 3rd week of each month.

Decent turnout, and great community showing. I saw a lot of casual players today spectating or playing in casuals. Let’s continue this trend if we can. 24 entrants and 5 setups today… and Paul’s streak has been broken by 200yen. Still, three in a row is impressive! Good stuff.

As a reminder, under any circumstances, please do not bring outside food and drinks. Respecting the venue owner’s concerns is paramount. Finish whatever you’re eating/drinking before you come in.
