If you can bring a console and TV setup, please post letting me know which system and games you have for it. I need to start getting an idea of what resources will be available in order to determine what console each tournament will be on. I know most people seem to prefer Xbox360, but I doubt we would be able to get enough 360s to run all 4 of the next gen fighters on it. Something will need to be on PS3.

I think 20 for mk would be good with top 8, but I’m not going to care if its 10 or 20.
We already have 16 bit making the drive from springfield and slips making the drive from stl. Maybe with the 20 entry we could interest some ohio people into making the journey.

I’d enter either way. I just have to find out when they patch the game next so I can figure out what I can and cannot do.
If no one objects I have plenty of experience with pretty decently sizes brackets etc (ran FF sf4/mvc3 multiple times).
Now I am still not 100% on my attendance so I dont want to commit to running brackets etc since others already are and want to.
To whoever is going to run brackets they should consider the method I ran at Chicago Heart 3 if anyone liked/remembers/fuckhumbag etc.

CH3’s method was great. A similar one was used at ignition as well. Get a card, numbered for a station, the winner brings it back. And especially for the set-up at nickel city it would be great, since the back table can’t see much.
pretty much why i was suggesting something similar should be run. Im still amazed how last FF i got 114 person ssf4 and teams done considering the late start last year.
I would definitely go but I don’t know how i would get there…cheaper to carpool or fly from NY?

Frosty Faustings will officially have a Skullgirls demo setup for people to try out throughout the day. A representative from Reverge Labs will be there to answer questions and show the game! If you haven’t tried it out yet, now is a great chance to try what is shaping up to be an excellent game.
Humbag, if you could run SSFIV or Marvel this year again, that would be a great help. You always do an excellent job, and the card system at CH3 would be good. I know you arnt 100% on coming, but if you can make it, your help is always welcome and appreciated.
We wont need to worry about late start times this year. Last year, the party room was booked in the morning, but this year, Amar already promised us the room for the entire day, so we can start things pretty early.
As for the $20 entry, I think it sounds like it would be good for SSFIVAE and UMvC3 at the very least. To be honest, I would like to implement it for Guilty Gear. I wonder though if it would discourage people from entering because they feel to rusty, or if it would cause more people to enter from out of state because there is more incentive in prize money. I could make MK 20 dollars as well if thats what the MK community wants. Any thoughts? I will update the first post soon but I want to hear a bit more feedback. You can count on SSFIV and UMvC3 being 20 bucks with higher payout structure though.
