While Hobojoe may be allowed into the tournament, it shows how little respect and understanding some veteran players have for the growth and development of new talent. From my understanding this event is designed to foster new talent and provide newer and amateur players the experience of competing for the big prize. Someone that played some great matches against chaos2d and davero in the grand finals of a tournament and qualified for BoK does not to me exemplify “amateur” play. While that is not my choice to make, even attempting to join shows a lack of decorum and understanding of intent of the event.
