James&James So Cal Modding

Hello Andre!
Thank you for the word up.

Yes, I did not plan to stay long time.
But then I’m like, "Let me do more to donate more."
I stayed back until I had no more parts left to provide Service.

For Ryan.

For Patrick.

Laugh.
He has one of these.

For Andre.

For Henry.

Would you happen to have any ps360’s or paewangs on you?
I need a mod from the ground up.

Man you been busy jdm. Are you attending any events?

I do not carry any of those products.
I do not like them, and avoid.
They are not cool to me.
Laugh.

Business kicked in when MvC3 came out.
Laugh.

I do not travel to Tournaments like Gummowned does.
He goes to a lot of States and do Service.
I just stay local in California.

My next Tournament is ReveLAtions in June.

Did you read that I attended Fight For Relief?
I donated all my money for Japan.

jdm714(James) is the one guy I trust with dual modding my arcade stick. His prices are reasonable and he stands behind his work.

Thank you Ryan!
I still feel bad for your Grandfather waiting.

How did you do at UCI?

Yeah but you bought up all the remaining Fightpads
Now how are people supposed to dual mod.

Oh wait…so that means they have to come to you! Nice wish I would’ve thought’ve that!

I’ll add to the tons of props James already has. He did an amazing job at FFR dual modding my TE; amazing quality wiring done way faster than I could have ever done it. He put in some serious work and made the charity event a ton of money last Sunday.

Lemme know when you have an update on the wooden case stick I passed you at UCI. No rush on it, though!

Laugh.

Thank you for the word Patrick.
Fight For Relief was super fun.

I only have Friday and Weekend to do mods.
So now I am able to look at yours.

Rainbows of wires.
Dual Strike-u

For Dennis.

Amazing work!

Thanks James. I played on both consoles last night with the stick that you modded for me and it works to perfection! Very clean install as well. Great care of exterior during install leaving no scuff marks or scratches. I will definetly return when needed and refer all my anxious friends to you.

Dennis

Hey, I had my R1 TE dual modded to PS3 by you guys a while back and I’ve been having a lot of trouble with it. I often need to plug and unplug the stick atleast a dozen times for it to actually properly connect. What will happen initially is I’ll plug it in, and a random assortment of lights will be turned on the turbo/xbox button. When that happens, the game doesn’t register any inputs.

The only semi-remedy I have found is plugging the stick in before turning on the console and that only really works some of the time, and also is not practical to do at tournaments or casual sessions.

Have you guys encountered this before and is there a fix?

Thanks.

Man, you were back from SoCal Regionals.
jamesepoop Dual Modded for you.

Yup. Is that a problem? I mentioned
it to him months ago, soon after SCR and that’s when he suggested unplugging and replugging, but its just become way more of an issue since then.

-Dammit_rab

If it is the Xbox 360 side, then I can’t do anything about it.
Because it is a problem with the Mad Catz PCB itself.

What ever the problem, I want to take a look at your TE.
I was going to attend WNF last Friday too.
You would have been able to talk to me.
Are you going this Wednesday?
I am going.

Man, SCR was tiring.
You were our last customer that night too.

Hrm, timely yet unfortunate. I’m having the same issue of having to replug in my stick multiple times to get it to work. Is there a good time and place to drop off my stick with you for a check up, James?

Really Andre?
How that can be?

Can you tell me more information?
Maybe the PCB I installed needs reflash.

Are you always at the UCI?

The dual mod worked fine at Fight for Relief and the week after, but since then it’s been really temperamental. I know the screws are kinda borked and it’s not sitting as tightly as it should be, but none of the wires appear to be loose.

I’m always at UCI, or you can let me know when and where is good and I’ll drive out to drop off the stick with you pretty much anywhere in SoCal.
