Hi guys not sure if you could help me but since you seem to be really good at modding I’ll give it a shot. I have a MAS Supergun (aka supernova) but they have their own controller ports some printer cable things, and I want to replace them or add PS2 controller support, would that be something you guys could do if I take it to you?

Yes, that can be done.

:wow: awesome!!! PMed

hey jdm…i tried to PM you, but i guess i cant due to not enough posts/pm lol, so i emailed you about modding 2 360 te sticks…my xbox froze while i was playing mvc3 and im not going to get another one so if you guys can help me mod it to play it on the ps3 and PC…im in the santa ana/garden grove area so i think im not that far from where u guys are at…please let me know when u can via my email or on here

thx in advance

Hey James, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I am having troubles with my stick again. The first small issue is that when I press the Start and Select buttons at the same time, the XBox/Playstation dashboard comes up as if I hit the Home button. Another issue is that my Fightstick actually worked flawlessly on a Playstation 3 only once before the Joystick stopped working when connected to a Playstation 3. Do you have any idea what the problem could be for these? I actually learned of a modder in my county, so hopefully I can take it to him to get it repaired this time.

EDIT: Do you have any idea what the problem might be that is causing the Joystick to no longer work on PS3? It worked fine when I first got it in the mail on Steven’s PS3, but that same night I went to a tournament and my Joystick stopped working when I plugged it into the arcade’s PS3. I tried it again on Steven’s but no dice.

That is normal, it’s a feature of the board used to dual mod, because it’s supposed to allow people to not have a home button. If you press your actual home button, it will stop that from happening until you unplug it.

Thanks for the tip Brig, James also got a hold of me and told me what else might be going on with the stick. I will give it a few tests this weekend and see if I can’t get it working again.

Two for Daniel.

One of his TE had the cleanest PCB ever from factory.
There was absolutely no Mad Catz glue on the Connectors and Screws.

Be cool to have all TE like that.

Sent you a PM a while back, maybe it got lost in the shuffle, so I’m resending. Hope we can do some business.

Thx for the link is it james?
im far up north and no where near close to u guys
i hope i can find someone near norcal (sonoma county area)
who can dual mod my stick
but thx for informing me that there are ppl in socal who can do it for me ^^

You are far.
Laugh.

There are three guy in the Bay Area who can do.
I don’t know how close that is to you.

Or ship to me. :wgrin:

I’m pleased that you are using the technique I taught you so you don’t have to cut the USB cord. Good work.

Probably have seen this post in Gummowned’s thread, I’m just checking which is suitable for myself. So I have a Chunli TE-S with a ChImp dual Mod, USB mod. I would like to get a LED mod on my buttons. How much would you charge? I’m from Nor Cal.

thnks man!!

Are you guys going to be at RevaLAtions.

YES! I will be attending ReveLAtions. :lovin:

James is super awesome and quick like ninja. He did a great and fast mod on my stick at Fight for Relief, intentionally staying later so he could finish jobs to get paid so he could donate the money to the effort. I know noobs have little impact, but I’d highly recommend checking in with him if you’re in SoCal and want to get some work done.
