Street Fighter IV Tournament Rules & Procedures

Street Fighter IV Rules & Procedures:

  1. Double Elimination; Best 2 our of 3.
  2. Match pairing is random.
  3. Street Fighter IV is a positioned side-by-side SEGA NET CITY Japanese up-right cabinet with Japanese style ‘lollypop’ joysticks and Sanwa buttons.
  4. In the event of a Double K.O or Tie another match is played.
  5. Intentional game gliching is punishable by immediate disqualification.
  6. Every contestant chooses one character to play the entire tournament with.
  7. If your name is called and you don’t show up for your match we move on and you’ll be disqualified.
  8. Do not crowd the tournament fighters. Everyone either sits on chairs or stands 3ft. behind the fighters. Do not block the other games in the arcade.
  9. Judge’s word is final. Bad sportsmanship will result in instant disqualification.
  10. Play at your own risk; (errors may occur during game play) In the instance of a major error we will restart the match.

Tournament Day Procedures??

  1. If you are registering on the day of the tournament please come 1 hour earlier (pre-reg 6:00pm~6:50pm 01/02/2009), if you would like you may pre-reg much earlier than the day of the tournament, we ENCOURAGE it. The fee to enter is $5 game. After 6:50pm we are NOT excepting any more contestants.
  2. Make sure you have your quarters ready to play the game I urge everyone to come an hour earlier. James Games price for Street Fighter IV is .50 cents. We will not wait for you to get your quarters during game play please buy your quarters with the intent of winning. Tournament Cash Pool is 100% contestant prize money.
  3. Please stick around the arcade, not outside, because your name at any time maybe called. We will continue without you if you don’t show up. Expect a long tournament and prepare accordingly. ?
  4. Always look to the tournament roster to see where you are placed so you have a clear idea of who you are up against next. Give your entry fee at the counter; cash only no refunds. If you are paying for many people please be ready to give their full name so we can register them properly.
