James Cameron Terminator 2019: The future is set, this will blow balls

[details=Spoiler] When did time travel become so mainstream? We have 4 people that went back in time in one movie:
Friendly Terminator Arnold
CGI Arnold
Asian T1000
Hybrid John Connor
Like WTF?!![/details]

You forgot the main one, Kyle Reese, ie the ultimate deadbeat dad.

Someone says “we have to change John back” so it doesn’t seem that way.

I was kind of stoked on the T-1000 being the enemy again. I get the vibe that some producer thought an asian dude wasn’t scary enough as a main protagonist.

Loled buncha posts

Shit movie

Isn’t that the original storyline for Salvation, before it was changed after negative fan feedback? Real John dies and Sam Worthington assumes his identity or something?

This movie reminds me too much of Sonic Generations, can’t take it seriously.

So he’s more than just man and machine now. . . . . .

They going in circles with this bullshit tbh.

It’ll probably be better than Rise of the Robots, at least… but that’s not saying much.

Lol 32 Meg power.

I’m getting tired of skynet building Uber terminators, that get bodied by their first fucking model anyways

If James Cameron didn’t go directing romantic movies, this shit couldn’t have happened.

Wouldn’t have mattered. Once he divorced from Linda Hamilton, they were both done with the franchise

If we could only send someone back in time to stop this catastrophe.

Just make sure it’s not a female Terminator since Cameron would just want to fuck her too.

Haha 32meg of POWER!

and music by BRIAN FUCKING MAY :astonished:

James Cameron says this is a great Terminator movie!

Im actually excited to see this, i think what was the selling point. Seeing Arnold fighting 84 Terminator, and kicking his ass. To top it off i like the extended look in that interview!

I’m a little pissed about the earlier spoiler in the trailers, but I like the idea of this movie. It sounds like a hard reset on the franchise, which was definitely needed. I would have really liked to see a resolution to this chapter of the franchise (aka the Arnold chapter), so they can finally defeat skynet (instead of stop one of it’s plans), and retire Arny’s character off, until the inevitable full franchise reboot.

To quote Jim Cameron on Terminator Salvation “It’s not bad…”.

I’m going to take his opinion with a grain of salt, the last good movie he made was in fact Titanic which is overrated anyway; that was 1997.

Yea that spoiler did hit hard, but i like the different take on it. Was this movie like a reboot sort of deal, for a new timeline?? I know shit got jacked up, and we are already heading in a different direction. The time traveling shit gets confusing…
