The feud could have been better. The promos were terrible, Jago selling on that SFxT set was absolute shit and so were his heel tactics.
I was just curious what the common opinion on the subject. Myself I think it is poor marketing that they had to create a fake feud. Weather the first to fives were faked can’t be known for sure. But the fact that they would fake a feud, and Mr. Ross botched the acting when he accepted his $1k check (seriously I’ve seen better acting in porn) “This is the easiest money I ever made” was delivered almost as bad as that line in Star Wars “Good. Our first catch of the day”., And the way Jago seemed to forget how to play during his match w/ Ross, I understand why people may feel it is all a setup. Even if everything else is on the up and up except their phony feud, the perception is going to linger and everything they do now is going to have an air of “what if” attached to it. The Real World, American Idol, Survivor, documentaries, ect are all fake. They are all staged or edited together in a way that entertains you even if it’s at the cost of the truth. No one should be surprised (or care) if the feud is fake. If you were entertained then it’s a job well done. If they same handful of people who win every tournament want to take turns being number 1 so what? It’s fighting games not the NBA or NFL. If you have a problem with it pick up your pad and go put them in their place.
