Does anyone in Jax play Deadpool/Doom or Sent/Deadpool/Doom by any chance? Seems like its the team that gives me the most trouble so far.

I will have TvC and only TvC… (sorry but all other new games are just plain and simple shit to me… Never really got into 3S) I have a couple desktops with various games on them (cps2 emulator with SFA2&3, the Darkstalkers series and others, also have E.F.Z. ) so if your xbox stick works on pc that would be great…
How do you play TvC? Like would you need a stick?? Or a classic??? Or a Gamecube pad? I have all but Gamecube pads. Sorry.

I’m playing MvC3 on PSN myself, but I honestly prefer local play. It’s been a hell of a ride, and I plan on taking this ride to the tourney levels. Even if it may take a while.

Leave it up to jax to try to have hype ass money matches on FB for MvC2… Is that the only game we really play? Well at the very least it is a hype money match for a little bit of money…

On a side note, to all of the players that are new to competitive gaming, (played games at an above average level for a little while, like 4 years or so, but never went to gatherings/lockins/All day play/Tournies) after playing with home boy from ocala I have realized that these new games (HDR, BB, SF$/SSF$ and now MVC3) are very bad for newcommers (TvC on the other hand is not bad at all). If you are new to posting/traveling and have not spent time with older games in this sort of scene (ST, Alpha 2 or 3, Marvel 2, Darkstalkers 3 and 3.5 etc…) you really should think about picking them up and playing them at gatherings. This new style of casual/competitive type games are really stripping you of what is actually going on in the games. Come back factor and turning the momentum in your favor are two different things and these new games try to lump them and many other things (that should not be lumped) in together. Thus creating this scrub factor everyone is talking/bitching about. I know it may seem like I am just trying to up TvC (like always) but I am really trying to help our new scene out, so they can see if they are really into this sort of thing or if it is more of a casual thing that is so easy to become competitive/decent at.
It is not a rant but more of a explanation, some of these older games have many many layers, while most of the new games have but one or two layers to break down to become tourney ready. If you ask any player that started in this FGC long ago they will tell you that, the more you think of this as your favorite sport, and treat it as such the better you will get. How many baseline drills do you think MJ did in his time playing Basketball? Not shotting, just moving around the court, making himself aware of his battlefield all the time. How many shuffle/side step drills? Again, nothing to do with the ball or the basket, just making sure he knew how to move his best on the court.
I used basketball instead of soccer because I figure more of you would clearly understand what I was trying to say. See I am a great troll, and yahll need to fuck with TvC because it really is the best next gen fighter. Period… LOL

I guess most of you know about the FB incident already. Supposedly, the MM is in two weeks but not sure on what day. As epic and hype as it could be, I seriously doubt it’ll happen for simple fact that casual gamers don’t do MM’s. They just don’t. It’s just not in them to gamble money (large amounts) on their skills competitively vs someone else in a video game. Hopefully, I’ll be proven wrong and everything falls through but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Anyways, there isn’t a set amount or place to set this up either which is also why I’m a bit skeptical, however, if it does go down, I’m sure all who care will know and be there for the madness. May the better player win.

lol wow, from my understanding the money match is canceled. this is news to me. oh well give them both time to train. i’m pretty sure sherrick hasn’t played mvc2 since mvc3 dropped. dude you’ve been trying for years to get jax into TVC and its been answered with closed ears. i highly doubt there will be anyone getting into that bro.
