The problem isn’t that tkcs is gone, it’s that there is a height restriction now. That means you cannot strike low to the ground. In addition, tkcs was not used just for catching crouch tech. I used it for that maybe 10% of the time.
I could live without tkcs. I cannot live without being able to cstrike low to the ground.
ggs last night spek those mirror matches was rough especially the ryu ones that why I don’t main he boring ass. Anybody playing this new fallout? I just started out playing it and its mad different from any rpg I’ve played but before I pass judgment on this ill play some more. Seems like you get to customize even how you piss In this game.
I’m really looking forward to the Rocky’s Tourney on December 18th after a Good one at 3D perception Inc. 3D inc will be focused only on super and bbcs but as for December 18th(And since Florida is officially banned from the online EVO tourney so that won’t affect us) I’m planning to go all out to end 2010. There’s gonna be a lot more open space this time for good reasons I’ll talk about next week :).
So I plan on a 3v3 and singles for Super, BBCS.
And a couple throwback tourneys. Now they won’t be official BUT I’ll include them in the pre reg page when it’s up after 3D inc.
If at least 8 people pre reg for Marvel 2 on DC, 3s or Cvs2, they will be included as tournaments and I’ll make them official.
Also With NBA JAM coming to XBOX if other people pick up copies I’ll also do a 2v2 Single Elim Tourney for Jam all on that Saturday.
Do you guys think I should space the tourney over 2 days or do my best to just stick to Saturday from Open to close?
Posted this in Orlando, but I’m curious I need a good majority of advice. Should it be a 2 day event or you think one day all day Saturday would be enough?
i say one day. you know florida hates to travel and making people get a hotel will probably stop a lot of people from going.
plus…if we start a bit earlier and we combine our equipment again, we should be good for a one day tournament.
i could even come down the night before to ensure i can get there early to help.

Honestly man, that’s up to you. Really just depends on who you are catering the event to. If its your main focus is on getting all of Florida, then it might be best for a 1 day event. Folks from NF haven’t exactly proven themselves to be the traveling type, so to speak, so having it a two day event might go very well for central Floridians, but lower attendance from north and south Floridians. I know Tally probably wouldn’t make too strong of a showing with a 2-day hustle, and a good portion of J-ville might opt out because of trying to find a cheap (aka free) place to crash in O-town for the event.

Now… if you’re looking for a regional/national tournament, then hell yeah: 2 day it is.

thanks to the rain, my house started taking on water. <madface>
it was isolated by the fireplace and away from my furniture, so i guess i am lucky there. the hardwood floors around the fireplace have already begun to warp and there is not saving the panels. 
i guess i am lucky that i am only renting this place, since the owners will have to worry about the cost of the flooring.
im not quite sure how water came in, but i do know that it was coming from the foundation.
what really sucks is that i was planning on driving to savannah today, but i couldn’t leave with water puddling in my living room. very upset i couldnt go.
on a side note…i was left with a lot of free time and decided to do a combo video featuring new combos that have yet to be announced with cammy. i got all the footage recorded, edited and arranged. now i’m working on the post-editing and should have it done some time this weekend.

In other news and my super early planning. The Hotel I want for a ceo 2011 event next year has given me the available date of June 17-19th to take over the hotel pretty much Orlando Meetings and Events | Orlando Convention and Meeting Facilities
And room rates would be 99 a night for everyone through CEO(Normally 300 bucks a night there). Just planning shit out now in my mind so I can really build it up.

A FAMU campus organization called Tallahassee Gaming League is hosting their first fighting game tournament featuring T6, SSF4 and MvC2.
In addition to the locals whom I haven’t met, most of the fight crew in Tally are going to be making a showing (12+) and Ive been bragging about how playing with you all has leveled up my game so your attendance would be more than welcomed/appreciated.
For those who aren’t hip on geography, Tallahassee is roughly 2ish hours west of Jacksonville (~172 miles).
Right now, Im waiting on information about the rules and prize package, and also permission to setup a couple of hours beforehand for casuals. As slated, the event starts at 7 and goes until.

So i think we can all agree tourneys in Florida unless it’s the Main CEO should only be one day. Miami tourney was perfectly run and quick they cut to top 16 in like 3 hours and now are holding it all off for the finals until tomm night. So many more people would of went today if it was just one day.
so jebailey what are you going to do when that manny cat decides to throw another nigerian scam and say hes going to do gaame this year? I know there will be some naive cats that will give their money away again. but I agree no 2 day tourneys unless its a big even like the main ceo.
And cot damn @ the chris king guy and his vega. How in the hell did he come up with the neutreal j,p, j.lk that shit is good because it lets you float in the air for a half a second more and on top of the j.lk at the angle he could stuff the srk and diago knew that. He had the match but he was so afraid of doing his ultra which I don’t blame him. tbh he would have been better off picking u1 with a player like diago and force him to use his normals.
