So apparently I got approved for an extra 5 stacks from a scholarship that I completely forgot about. Expect to see me more often.
Use that shit to buy a car!
I know, right? I should probably do that! … but chances are that I wont because you don’t need a car in Tallahassee. The bus system is pretty on point (imo).
That would be great for someone that never leaves tally, which is def not you. Lol.
Hahaha, point taken. As soon as I learn how, the car is mine. I’ve actually never learned how.
1.) who plays BlazBlue CS or Tekken 6 in this area
2.) who wants to take a scrub under his wing
3.) where the casuals at
4.) props to that AzureRevolver dude for supporting AH3 fighter of the year all years
5.) are we still ultra-juggling in HnK?
thats 3 blocks away from my old neighborhood lol
@spektrum
I know you have a bunch of sticks. Have you ever had one just stop turning on? I haven’t heard of such a thing but it happened today
i havent had one die for no reason.
best thing to do is open it up and make sure no wires are loose/unplugged anywhere.
I got it to come back on but that’s probably a sign of things to come
I got blazblue the other day but I don’t know if I like it
To my knowledge, you’ve got Jeff (Potent Shell) who is your best BlazBlue player in town. Jeff does his own thing, but from what Ive seen, will gladly give you advice and break down the hustle if you can catch him.
There are a slew of T6 players, but Charlie (SJinZero) and Levi (FLEX) who are your best in J-ville, both of which I know personally and one of them being a good friend of mine. They host sessions pretty oft, usually being in the UF game room or someone’s house. Slide me your contact info and Ill put you down with them since neither posts on SRK. T6 might be easier to slide in to, as there are roughly 8ish players around, all with varying degrees of skill level.
I dunno man I like I told you In the past the true way to getting better Is to stay grinding it out because you can’t watch all the videos and someone can show/tell you something all day but if you can’t apply it when your actually playing then its not going to help you can’t just get beat a few times and consider yourself scrubby. This what I just seen from playing you but don’t try to focus to much of the complicated stuff and focus on the basics like armor absorbing, zoning, baiting, ultra conservation, meter conservation, and picking a character that’s right for you meaning start off with somebody simple like ryu or bison. Don’t get me wrong though getting advice and watching vids helps but it copying and having someone dictate directions to you won’t help when you get in a actual match better yet the flash metroid dude said it best " you could try to copy someone but you don’t know the set up and spacing the somebody did to do what they did" or some ish like that. Basically what im trying to say Is don’t over complicate things right now as far as looking for frame data and hitbox info and all of that just yet, just pick a basic straight to the point character for now, learn the bnb combos, take a lot of L’s and win a couple, and watch yourself grow.
IMO
damn on a side note that should have been a pm but whatever, anybody doing something offline this week? also
CLAW

Why the eff would they nerf ANYTHING about Vega? That U2 with its super crappy damage, and its not like cr.MP and cr.MK were tight in terms of damage dealing to begin with.
That Cosmic Heel thing is about the only thing I can see, though, but not really.
yeah man capcom hates me. they finally made vega a decent character in this game only to clip him again is terrible. cosmic heel was one of vega’s only pressure tactics that he has but its all good I mean its not nearly as bad was cammy’s nerfs. Funniest part though if they was going to take away the comic heel properties they should have at least gave him regular rcf back to ST speed but oh well I’ll see how bad the change Is.
Actually, our resident Cammy player thinks Cammy will be better in AE. Im almost inclined to agree with him. Not that it bothers me too much. When I saw the first series of changes, I already knew that stuff wasn’t going to be poppin.
Just waiting for TTT2 and SF vs T.
Cammy will a lost cause in AE if her cstrike cannot be done at low heights.
He says that instead of having to use TKCS to do crouch techs, you can use her other normals to accomplish the same (albeit, not as well) and the overall buff that she gets from the added frame advantage outweighs what she loses with TKCS.
I can see it… but not enough to make an informed judgment since the only thing I do with her are Sako combos in training mode and against scrubs.
In other news: Just as I had anticipated, it looks like Miami is probably a negative. Which means I just need to convince myself to spend a 5 day weekend in Jax.
