Did anyone ever ask Justin whether his antics during the final match were to entertain the crowd, psych Daigo out or because he was really just fired up and couldn’t contain himself? Knowing nothing about the tournament scene or Justin’s personality, I couldn’t figure it out.

He just saved himself from a very tight spot and got very excited about it, It’s not like after that he’s just ganna sit there like how Daigo does… And yes he does it sometimes but he has every right to, He IS the best in EC.
Alot of people who first meat him say that he’s really cool and down to earth.

from what ive seen so far, justin only hype himself during big match, he doesnt talk trash or braggin about himself in interviews, but arturo on the other hand, this dude will talk trash and braggin about himself whenever he near the mic or camara…its annoying
WHile i was at FR12 i interacted with him a little. He’s a cool dude. He just has confidence. Now marn on the other hand… that guy is a straight ass-hat. I also remember messing with Gootecks, he was sitting next to ross during a match he lost. I went up to him and said something like “Yo did you just lose with Honda? I didn’t know you played Honda.” he was all like “ME!? LOSE!?! HAH” Shit was hilarious to me.
I agree that Justin went too far in the video you linked. Getting in Mike Ross’s space and shit. I’m fine with the way he behaved against Daigo, though.
i think sabin is highly entertaining, just like darksydephil. it makes for great schadenfreude when they lose. i think sabin knows the deal though. one of the first things he posted when he got back from Denjin SBO quals was (paraphrased) “i don’t mind if you guys talk trash on me now cos i know i did my share”. the hate is part of the territory.
I have a question. After the match ended and Justin lost, where did he go? I haven seen or heard from him since EVO ended.

Justin said that he “forgot” a few things with boxer… stating that he forgot that balrog’s TAP could go through fireballs! WTF?
That Gooteck’s podcast is pretty good. Lot’s of really interesting shit in there. According to Justin, the only guys in Japan who could consistently beat his Rufus were Nemo and Daigo. And even though the level in Japan is really high, the skill difference between the individuals is not really that big. Also, he says the difference between Japanese and American players is that the Japanese make fewer mistakes, but even so the difference is not that high.
Most interesting bit for me (as a Blanka player) was that Mizoteru beat Daigo every match!

Um? Have any of you guys ever played sports? People talk trash or get really excited all the time. Michael Jordan wasn’t a silent assassin, he talked trash all the time. It’s part of the game. Get over it.
