If you mean the shopping cart hyper, then yes, you can. It happens about 0:55 in this gameplay video…

No, I meant his other hyper, the one where he attacks with multiple weapons.
the timing may be a bit tight, or the combo might not be able to be extended too much. Cuz S-Kill was having trouble after just a simple combo
Doubt it, but it is invincible (went right through Chaotic Flames) and it seems like you can combo after it in the corner.
That one looks like X-23’s Weapon X Prime hyper, too slow to combo into normally, but if you have an assist you can.
Doubt it. Looks more like a “Weapon X Prime” type hyper
More than likely if you x-factor on the last hit you can continue in the corner, but other than that it doesn’t look like it.
The kick is a special.
Frank’s camera is going to be REALLY good in this game. If that thing is an assist, it will be pretty godlike…
Frank looks like a solid character.
FUCK THERE ARE SO MANY CHARACTERS THAT I WANNA PLAY!!!
THREE CHARACTERS ISN’T ENOUGH!
Perhaps Heroes & Heralds mode will allow you to put more than three on a team. I mean, why not? It just makes for longer games. The rule of only calling one assist at a time would still apply, but you’d have a greater pool to draw from. They’d have to increase the meter maximum, though.
I partially agree with you; I loved the Real Megabuster and am disappointed it isn’t returning. However, these changes are for the best from a cosmetic/presentation standpoint. The Real Megabuster was a hidden weapon that required you to do a few hours worth of grinding 65K+ zombie kills to unlock, and was clearly not a part of ‘canon Frank.’ It was an easter-egg weapon, not core to his character like sledgehammers and axes and golf clubs are.
This is like the changes that Magneto got to let him be more of a ‘cerebral villain’ with his magnetic powers instead of being primarily about a rushdown king; a style you virtually never see out of him in comics and movies about the X-Men. Magneto was about using his control of magnetism and gravity to hinder and frustrate opponents, not martial arts badassery.
Frank West has been changed in the same way. His TvC design was very interesting and fun to play, but rather removed from how he really behaves in Dead Rising. His UMvC3 form is much more in line with the Frank West I used in Dead Rising 1, Case West, and Off the Record. For that, I am willing to give up a beam super. It was a great move and I will miss it, but this is really for the best in terms of portraying the character of Frank West. He now fights how he really did in his source games, and this is a good thing for attracting those who legitimately like Frank as Frank, rather than as a collection of fighting game moves.
HELL YES! I originally wanted this, but I figured it would be too obscure, so I gave up hope.
Adam was one of the best bosses in DR1, so this brings back good memories…
Looking back on the gameplay footage (about 0:50 seconds in), the shopping cart is a multi-hitting assist. The number of hits seems to stay the same no matter how far he has traveled because it looked like he was pretty far along and it still did seven hits! However, I still don’t see much use of this, unless it has invul (which is not likely), because how long he stays on screen.

Very well said, it’s a very good representation of Frank West and very true to his character. Only thing that kinda bugged me is his song, but that’s just nitpicking. Now a toast to Frank, may his life in UMVC3 be long and prosperous drinks beer.
So I thought about it for a sec, and Frank actually doesn’t have any viable tools to deal with flying opponents other than Servbot head. Maybe paddle saw, but that takes some leveling up. Anyone happen to notice anything…?
His third zombie has yet to be seen. I’m hoping it’s the overhead one. But he has camera for flying opponents.

Dunno, it only looks like three times to me, up to Lv. 4. At least, that’s the highest level Seth demonstrated. Am I mistaken?
I keep hearing five. We need confirmation of this stuff. ;_;
