Not that hard once you’re on the right mindset. Just make yourself believe that your fist is harder than the rock.
Try it out one day, it makes for a great stress reliever.
Dude, it is a freaking Boulder, not a big stone, a BOULDER. Not to forget there were near a volcano, so not only it was a BOULDER, it was a HOT BOULDER. Yes, you will feel burned and will crack your hands at the same time.
Did I mention that it is a BOULDER?
Back on Frank, Among all horizental projectile assists, which one may offer him both a way to get in and instant left right mix up? I am leaning on Wright Missile and Chris Gun Fire as mentioned earlier, which I believe may work out FANTASTIC for me. Maybe a switch in characters every now and then.
I’m 90% positive that a BOULDER is defined as a big stone.
Dude, enough with the trust issues. It came from a guy who seems honest/legit. So just roll with it.
If it ends up not being true, well, then it’s not true. No big deal.
Hate to distract, but isn’t Frank’s roll exactly like the buffed version of caps’ cartwheel?
‘Hate to distract’, indeed. You’re getting the conversation back on to Frank West. The guy this thread’s about. You’re doing a good thing.
Similar comparisons have come up before. We don’t know the exact behavior of both Frank’s command roll and Cap’s cartwheel, but they seem at least similar. Even the trailers showed Frank using an assist on one side backed by rolling behind the target to create a situation that is very hard to deal with. Multi-hit assists like Amaterasu will be extremely helpful for him, I believe.
Cap’s isn’t cancelable. Frank’s is pretty dumb safe.
I think that Unibeam may be one of the best assists for him. It would help him get in, add hits to his combos, and help with rolloport mixups.
Yeah but it comes with an Iron Man. I’m really sad that I’m gonna have to relearn all of his BnBs.
Yeah, Iron Man has completely changed for better or for worse.
Also, Frank really could benefit from a good combo extension assist after he gains access to the self-OTG kick as it doesn’t look like he can continue from it by himself.
The whole “that comes with Iron Man” thing is what worries me. He’s a capable character, but his moves are so unintuitive…
I’m wondering what is going to make the OTG kick more appealing than the OTG camera, at least before you reach level 4 (5?). Maybe the kick recovers quicker?
Well, if his EXP system is based on the number of hits in a combo, then extending the combo would be worth while, but I do agree that before level 4-5, it’s questionable.
Also, new health estimates came out. Frank should have about 1,000,000!
Where is that?
That is nice!
Someone analyzed the gameplay footage and estimated it to be around that amount, but it isn’t exact. It’s still funny to think that he has higher health than characters like Nova and Dr. Strange when he’s just an average guy.
Waitasec, Frank’s Lv. 2 Knee Drop ground bounces? He can do solo relaunches? Nice!
His Axe/Sledgehammer/Whatever does as well, so there’s multiple options for relaunches. Just be careful how you use that one ground bounce in your combo.
This should be added to the OP.
Looks like actually comboing from the Camera looks hard. I think that we’ve seen him hit Hypers after it, but I don’t remember seeing any relaunches off of camera. I could be wrong.
The sweep-kick bounces them up a pretty high amount, doesn’t enter a stupid cinematic animation like Jill’s, and doesn’t use a groundbounce like his axe/sledge moves that OTGs.
His roundhouse kick looks harder to use. No wallbounce, but I think it causes a hard knockdown? Could be pretty useful, I guess.
Also, it looks like his j.S looks like it basically becomes Haggar’s pipe at lvl 3 or 4: ANOTHER groundbounce move.
