Frank’s combos look great, but aside from otg and happenstance, it looks pretty hard to land a photo. Also seems severely punishable…

Hmm, so you can cancel on his rush hyper from a self camera OTG without assists. Interesting.
I don’t think it would be a good idea to use his camera outside of combos anyways. Barely any exp, barely any damage, is more of an annoyance than a zoning tool.
It looks like he can start the DHC GLITCH!!!
But really.
- Do we know which of his two physical hypers does more damage?
- How unsafe is his anti-air hyper?
I think I heard someone say somewhere that they noticed Frank’s camera not leveling him up evenly. Maybe his camera gets a bonus depending on what your opponent is doing?

I’m sure catching the opponent mid-combo and/or during a buff (DARK PHOENIX RISEZEZ) grants a bonus. Just theory, though.
It gives you points for each hit in a combo if you use it mid-combo. Is that what you mean?
Is it full screen too? If Frank is on the ground can it hit a character at the peak of their normal jump?
If it’s anything like in TVC, it hits the entire screen in front of him.

I believe it hits in a cone in front of him, as a real camera would if it had a real life hitbox. (THE CAMERAMAN IS TRYING TO KILL ME!!!) I saw it whiff on someone that was shortly below him.
And his camera is a very unique projectile. It’s in the same case as Ryu’s new red fireball in the way that it has no real HP. It hits you without giving a care about whatever other projectiles are on the screen, and it’s a VERY large hitbox. Not to mention when the camera goes active it’s instant. In TvC it was an amazing interrupting assist. Not so much for combos, as the hitstun…nearly didn’t exist there.
Don’t underestimate the camera I’d say. If anything, we can probably TK it for a little less recovery. It’s got that “don’t press buttons” thing going for it. (Hail Storm and Akuma Shinkuu)
Does it cancel out other projectiles?
And what do you mean about “same case as Ryu’s”?
It just seems too good of a special move. Sure the damage sucks, but the fact that it’s there will likely caution people from doing anything erratic. It’s like Wesker’s gun having a spray effect.
