Well awesome combo man but I think it could be better. What I would do is instead of doing a second volcanoxxbeehive I would tiger knee a sky dance after the first one in order to get the ground bounce back, then use million dollars>dhc into swords(hold L for round trip)>lunar phasex2>c.:h:>:f:+:h:>wait>release round trip>c.:h:>:qcf::l:>c.:h:>lunar phase>:df::h:>super if you want.
i was wondering what’s a good combo to get into DT mode and utilizing it in the combo, cuz i know you use vortex to get in and thunderbolt to get major chip. Also i was wondering how do i do 6 thunderbolts?
Does Dante have any raw tag combo setups for other characters?
I usually don’t use Devil Trigger in combos, unless I’m just going for style points. The damage boost isn’t really that big, and you can’t build meter for the duration of DT. But Stinger>Reverb Shock cancelled into Devil Trigger is really good as it lets you get a combo of your choice.
For Thunderbolt spam, shoot 2, activate flight mode, then shoot more. Does entirely too much chip damage, hits OTG, and can’t be advancing guarded/pushblocked. I love catching assists with it.
lol i can do that but just not j.s xx killer bee after sting bold teleport wall bounce. I think it’s just a timing or a situation i just can’t do even if it was the simplist thing in the world. oh well time to figure out alternatives
I know off a hard knockdown in the corner, you can do 4 shots of Cold Shower xx Stinger BC Sky Dance making SD whiff and putting Dante in the corner. The problem is, the only person I’ve been able to get anything off that hard tag is with XF Ammy.
He can also switch out during an Acid Rain combo if done correctly but following up can be a bit hectic.
This is what I believe you should be using it for when doing combos although I did find one flight combo (only usable in the corner) and a triple jump combo that pushes the opponent pretty far across the screen. However, I wish there were more DT combos in this thread because Im sure we’ve all had times were sooner or later we’ve had DT Dante in a match and once we got a hit we went for Dante’s basic bnbs.
Literally its the exact same thing. Just dont press L twice and then continue the combo with Volcano xx Beehive.
Also, if you use an assist like Ryu’s Hadouken you can do Cold Shower xx Stinger+Assist BC Air Trick jS xx Hammer (Assist, jS, and Hammer will hit) and then continue the combo in the corner
I’ve been out of the loop on Dante for a while now. Can Zero’s assists (any of them really) or Magneto’s Disruptor be used to extend Dante’s combos at all in Ultimate?
Combo starter with C.Viper Y-Assist. Written in numpad format.
5L>5M>5H>6H+Assist>S+A>623M>2369M~M, 5H>S…
from there, you can do most of the standard stuff, although some of them become a bit difficult due to increased HSD.
I usually net anywhere from 770K to 830K finishing it with bnb-level stuff.
Like: sj.H>sj.236M, sj.H>sj.236L, / Dash Back S~H~6H>S+A>236H, 263M~M, 6H>S+A>623M~M>236A+A
AvariceX: There are number of videos by NiniHeart demonstrating combo extensions with Xero. I don’t remember if any of them included Disruptor extensions.
Thanks kinetic I’ll be posting new shit soon.

lmao, Jamming Bombed combo? I think I’m gonna try all my characters’ BNBs like that, should be fun.
Zero’s Ryuenjin or whatever can be used with Stinger wallbounce, call Zero, Acid Rain (or something like that, I forget the exact timing lol). You can probably do (off a hard knockdown) call Zero, Volcano, j.S. I do these Morrigan’s Shadow Blade, so it should work here too. As for Disruptor, I have no idea; no more soft knockdown really sucks for late combo extension.
Damn you, assist-hitstun decay!
Oh you mean like this one from my vanilla combo video?
www.youtube.com/watch?v=DG8dX13lSps&#t=2m28
Yeah it doesn’t work anymore from what I can tell (or the timing is just a lot stricter). Volcano into j.S doesn’t work with Ryuenjin anymore either unless it’s right at the start of the combo.
Heh, your video might be where I stole that from. A lot of the stuff I do is ‘borrowed’ from other people, I just adjust it for the characters I use.
Ah, that sucks. I think Shadow Blade pops the opponent up a bit higher than Zero’s assist does. I wonder if maybe you can use it with Rainstorm, then? I’ve tried comboing off an air throw with Morrigan but she knocks them a little too high and a little too far to the side.
I also have some whack-ass resets that would probably work with any uppercut assist, but I don’t know if they’re legitimate or not. People tend to get hit by a lot of stupid shit online lol
Doesn’t Nini do it in one of his UMVC3 vids? Maybe i’m crazy or but i’ll check later when I have the time
The Cold Shower into Stinger+Assist into Acid Rain works. I guess it just depends on the character.

Sorry for such a noobish question, but when I’m doing the S~H (Clay Pigeon?) move after a Killer Bee, sometimes they fly up where I can sj and Hammer, etc. And sometimes they just flip out at nj height. Obviously it’s something I’m doing, but I can’t seem to figure out the variable that determines which happens (so I can prevent the latter). Any ideas how to clean up my Pigeon-ing? lol
What combo are you using?

You need to do something to let them fall further into your prop shredder. Whether its delay your timing after clay pigeon, do less shots, whatever, they need to be deep into your prop n shredder so they don’t tech out.
Or you have too much HSD to continue the combo
Experimented with just LMS sj H xx Killer Bee, Stinger - mash H, S, sj H xx Killer Bee, and of course LMH Stinger xx Volcano jc MH xx Killer Bee. All three pretty much gave the same results, which is why I figured I was doing something wrong during the Clay Pigeon - Shredder process. I’ll see what I can do about getting them deep in the Shredder. Maybe I just need to delay the S.
They must not be falling deep enough into Prop Shredder or you’re doing something that takes too long (time wise). For example, there’s a combo that works midscreen but in the corner if you backdash (to position Dante correctly) the opponent pops out.

Yeah, you need to let them drop a bit during the ground bounce from killer bee.
