Yeah you actually input the dash during the ending of the cutscene. On smaller characters, only 1 or 2 hits of Cold Shower will connect so its best to practice the timing so you can just do lvl3 dash Cold Shower and then cancel into Prop right after the first hit or so. Its best to practice it because missing Prop leaves you at a big disadvantage and it’d be hard to hit confirm off of one or two shots of Cold Shower. You can also connect a Volcano OTG xx Beehive instead but I think thats character dependent. Basically, practice and look for a visual cue in the animation
Is incorporating pigeon shot loops into combos supposed to be so hard?
2 shot loop is pretty sex practicing it now got in to a good rhythm pulled like 5 in a row was like wow this is sick.
It can be. In Vanilla, I was able to do it on my first try, but Im having trouble timing the S to come out after shots instead of Prop in Ultimate
You need a slight delay. I find it easier on smaller characters because their hitbox takes a while to hit the ground so you have more time to connect. Also Stinger has quite a bit of active frames so it’s really not that bad.
Has anyone found any Devil Trigger combos that are only possible in DT due to the 15% speed increase?
When does that input time begin though? I just mash wave dash when Dante puts his sword away. And do I wave dash until I’m next to them, or does a couple do the trick?
Typically I have to wait to see where I am after the cutscene, and normally my dashes made it near the character. Do I have to input Cold Shower during the cutscene as well?

Am I just bad or are combos off s.M anti-air kind of inconsistent?
Anyone find any practical Multi-Lock setups? In regards to charging it fully, I mean.
I’ve been having troubles with anti-air confirms as well, it seems like j. H to killer bee is so hard to hit now

I don’t think Dante has anything reliable ground-to-air anymore, personally, which makes him more zoning dependent (which is serviceable for him, but not great). I try to anticipate jumps and meet them air-to-air, with an j. M, j.H -> Air Play, falling j.H series.
I’ve been trying the standard midscreen BnB on Firebrand, and the s.S after j.H, s.H is whiffing a helluva lot. Any suggestions? I’ve tweaked with the series after 623M for like half an hour, and still can’t find anything consistent lol.
Switch Viper to Seismo assist. Sample combo would be:
5M, 5H, 6H~S+A~623M, j.H, j.236M, j.H, s.H, s.S~H~S (Clay Pigeon into Prop Shredder), 236L~L, land and call Viper, 9, 236L~L, land and call Strider, 236M~M, 623M~M, 623M~M xx Jackpot
Idk how much damage that is though. Prolly a lot.

First one is the most consistent but nets you the least damage.
I’ve tried 5M, but it tends to whiff a ton in comparison to Vanilla. I’ll pay more attention next time.
