How much should I be getting off air throws? Usually I do:
Air Throw, Mash H + Assist, Hammer, Land, Cold Shower~Stinger, BC, j.S, Land, Volcano~Beehive, Stinger, BC, Volcano~Beehive (or Jet Stream~Fireworks, Super)

Well, I’ve actually been using 623, 2369 and that works, but the timing’s still an issue because there’s more shit the engine can obfuscate the input with (j. cancel volcano stuff).
2 More questions:
How are people obviating hitstun decay with Prop Shredder and Assists? Namely, Dorm and Iron Man? Whenever I attempt a second PS at any point in a combo while Unibeam Assist is hitting, they still manage to flip out.
Secondly, how are people landing Cold Shower after LvL 3 and what’s the standard combo after that?
Depends on the assist. With some, you can do the cold shower>prop/5S>Charge shot>prop regular combo, with others your version is optimal, with others you have to resort to killer bee and shot loops, etc.
To be honest though, I generally kill off an airthrow, either by DHC glitch or round harvest combo extensions or level 3 OTG or XF if I don’t have DHC glitch capable teams or 3 bars. I don’t really like spending meter if it’s not gonna kill, since Dante has a lot of good resets.
First one, I think it’s a timing issue. It’s easier the less HSD is active.
Second you need to dash cold shower. I input the dash when Dante is putting his sword back. If at the beginning of a combo, you can pretty much do cold shower>prop>whatever. If at the end of a combo, the only option is either cold shower>XF>stuff or cold shower>THC. On some characters you can do dash>volcanohive instead of dash>cold shower.
@synikal: I usually just do dash>cold shower>prop>hammer>assist+volcano xx beehive>jet stream>fireworks>hyper
the assist helps add meter so you can get one full bar afterwards meaning you will always have a bar for million dollars or u can do another lvl3 if u had 5 bar Hell if you start with 4 bars you can use that extra bar to DHC if Dante is running low on health.
I use She-Hulk/Dante/Tron so it’s all I (think) I can really do.
With Tron you can airgrab>shots>assist>Land>5S>Charge Shots>prop shredder
If you’re comfortable with charge shot loops you can get those after an airgrab.
j.Mash H->call assist->hammer->volcano->beehive->44 (backdash) S->charge shots->yadayada
or
j.Mash H->call assist->killer bee->44 S->charge shots->yadayada
Also, after lvl 3 you can dash forward-> cold shower (2 hits)->stinger->BC teleport and continue from there if you haven’t used your wall bounce (timing is kinda strict).
Btw, does stinger->BC->million dollars work if you’ve already used your wallbounce?
I doubt it. I remember trying Stinger>BC>Reverb Shock at one point but it didn’t work because of HSD. Earlier in the combos, it works but at the end of long ass combos, they just flip out.
Just in case people don’t know you can also dash up volcano xx beehive after a level 3. Richard Nguyen showed me it at Evo.
What enders are people using for Acid rain loops? I never tried doing them because they seem inconsistent/char-specific but in the corner I have a fairly consistent setup for two loops on every character. I tried 5S jS and also volcano jS (a bit tight in timing), in the corner you can also juggle with Million carats into the beehive ender.
5S>J.S, J.S, Revolver if i’m trynna go for DHC glitch, Million Carats>Revolver if i’m trynna style.
How do you reset the ground bounce count with Sky Dance?
Make sure the last hit of sky dance hits the opponent.
Or use an assist that hits the assist during Sky Dance (i.e. Drones).
The falling arc of the Sky Dance attack resets the ground bounce, but also causes its own groundbounce + hard knockdown which does not come to pass if the last hit connects. Therefore, the idea is to either combo off of the last hit (Devil Trigger, X-Factor, or other shenanigans), or use an assist to catch the enemy before they hit the ground (which involves more complicated combos).

For Dante’s stinger BC bnbs is there a universal way to do it? IdiotIdk if its my timing or what but usually i have to do BC volcano j.m airplay adf j.h to make it connect on larger characters. I guessbc they fall faster and the j.m knocks them up. And for characters of avg height I usually do BC volcano j.h airplay add j.h bc the first way usually sets them to high

The rule I follow is j.MH airplay j.H on Sentinel, and j.H airplay j.H on everyone else.
