Btw, I was messing around with Acid Rain after round harvest and it’s pretty inconsistent. Sometimes the scythe goes left and exits the corner, and sometimes it stays right there. The upside is that you can get tons of reps very easily(I got like 7 without even trying). I’ve found that the lower they are to the ground when the scythe hits them, the more likely they are to stay in the corner and vice versa.

Still, superjumping>double jump into J.S/Hammer/Skydance is much more reliable.

Also think it might be character dependent. Normally, I can wait, then dash and usually, the scythe won’t leave the corner. Against She-Hulk, couldn’t get the scythe to stay in the corner. Or maybe I’m wrong, needs more testing.

Also, the height thing you mentioned would explain a few things as well, was wondering why I couldn’t get the scythe to stay in the corner after X-23’s Weapon X Prime…

Oh yeah, managed to find a DHC glitch set-up with X-23 and Trish to guarantee that Round Harvest will stay in the corner and you can loop them several times, it’s basically this old combo(sorry for the quality): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYEBgmE-Yyo&feature=channel_video_title

Because Nini said you’ve gotta make sure the opponent’s low to the ground before the DHC to make the scythe stay in the corner more consistently, just delay your DHC Round Harvest by 1 second. That’ll pretty much ensure they stay in the corner. And you can basically take the piss with Acid Rain.

Perhaps I’m confused. What exactly is the DHC trick then. I assumed it was just cancelling into it and continuing a combo with a reset.

Man I tell ya…I can do 3s and hd remix drunk. But after a couple of jamesons, my defense in MVC goes out the fuckin window online. It’s just not fair. Why can’t other people be drinking too.

Kind of, except the glitch thinks you’ve reset the combo when in actuality you never dropped it.

Keep in mind there are DHC trick options that have been discovered but aren’t present on the list, such as Dante’s Crazy Dance.

Then that would be it. With deadpool at least, that’s the only one I think I’ve done it with. You do his quick work and on the 4th hit DHC and it resets. j.S into volcano and bee hive alone causes like 750k or so…definitely a reset.

Actually you were right, the air play misses. This one is universal though I think. Might not work on Cap since his feet don’t have a hitbox but that’s about it. Works on zero.

@Ryuga, Trish can extend dante combos a fair bit. Volcano>J.S , and Cold Shower>Stinger>BC Jetstream ender when you don’t have a ground bounce anymore is pretty nifty.

Jump straight up after volcano to combo on Zero in the corner.

What is the best combo with dante when receiving the dhc glitch?

I dunno if it’s the best, but I try to keep the hit counter really low so damage doesn’t minimum out immediately again, so like

(Wait a bit for spinning to reach ground level)
:s:, j. :m:, :m:, :h:, :qcb: :s: (fly cancel), :m:, :h:, :qcb: :s: (unfly), :m: (double jump), :m:, :h:, :qcf: :s: (Beam), :dp: :s: (Psycho crusher move), :s:

and then follow with whatever ground combo after that, also this is corner only.

does anyone have video doing the ammy assist, crystal, revolver, grapple DHC trick, i been trying but don’t know what the timing is suppose to be like

(Dash under or not depending which side is closer to the corner)Volcano>J.H>Airplay>J.H>5H>5S>J.H>623S>J.S>Call combo extension assist>Volcano>J.S>Cold Shower> Stinger> BC> The Hammer> Call combo extension assist> Volcano>J.S>Volcano>Beehive>6H> BC Jetstream> Crazydance/Fireworks + super.

When doing off Trish’s DHC glitch setup, you can add a million carats before the volcano for a BIG damage boost.

Carries like 2/3 or 3/4 off the screen and doesn’t require much execution.

I do:
jump qcf+L xx qcf+L land dp+M jump H xx qcf+M H land S super jump H xx dp+S (double jump H xx dp+S) S land ender.

Using Low Voltage right? Thanks, gonna practice up! Been watching these assist combos, really want to incorporate them for much more damage.

Oh yeah, and Round Harvest is definitely character specific when using it to juggle. Example, vs Ryu, Cap and others, you have to delay it by 1 sec, for Hulk, you have to DHC into Harvest immediately.

I’ve been trying more dante stuff and I’m having an issue with this combo:
M-H-fH xx A+S xx dp+M jump H xx qcf+M H land (S xx H) x 6ish fH xx A+S xx d,d+S S ender
I find that I can hit two S xx H but then the gun shots miss in the 3rd S.

This is a very character specific combo. Only thing I would advise you to do is mess around with how many charge shots you’re doing and find something reliable. Sometimes you need to do more charge shots so you can pop them in the air before they fall, sometimes you need to do less or they will tech before your next 5S hits them.

Also Dante’s level 3 is fucking godlike. I like how you can use it as a reversal and go into a kill combo from it.
