I said that on the previous page, the combo is easy and very practical for match play.
Dante: LMH>F+H>Bold Cancel>Volcano, jump, J.H>Air Play, air dash>J.H, st.MH>Cold Shower>Pop Shredder> TK Acid Rain until Tron starts getting quite low to the ground, S(Acid Rain fall prevents her from getting launched), J.S, Cold Shower>Stinger>Bold Move>The Hammer, Beehive x2>Million Dollars.
1,267,400, 211 hits. Meter gain: 4 bars. I couldn’t tell you how many Acid Rains I did, but I’m pretty sure it was about 15-20. Basically, when Acid Rain starts to hit the 1.mil mark. Think this combo might work on Tron anywhere, not sure. Needs more testing.
you can probably get tron into 3 acid rain loops with the right assist. 1 after prop shredder, 1 after volcano+assist+stinger into acid rain, 1 after wallbounce+dt
About this combo…I’ve gotten it to the point where I can Bold Cancel (:s:+:atk:) the Air Trick (:d::d::s:) right after Stinger (:f:+:h:). Problem is I teleport right over the opponent and I am way to high to connect J :s: . Am I doing something wrong? I’m doing it as fast as I can so I don’t get teleported as high. I was able to do with midscreen without the rest of the combo but I had no idea how I got J :s: to connect.
I’m not hitting j:s: too late. As I said, I teleport OVER the opponent, not next to the opponent. J :s: doesn’t connect no matter how fast I press it and I can’t see to do the teleport any faster…
Anyone knows what the combo actually looks like?
Edit: Never mind I got it…You can’t be too close to the corner if you try to do it…Which means I can’t start the mid screen exactly.
All this talk about the Dance Macabre DHC Trick is making me all excited to try it out on my team… But the rest of my team is:

After trial and error with these characters, I found that its easy to start your combos off of c.L, to activate Dante’s DT at the highest point of release after you grapple into DHC, and to just listen/look for when the hyper screen deactivates. But yeah, besides the obvious, How easy/consistent is the Dance Macabre DHC trick to these two characters? Anyone try it yet?

Oh cool, thanks. I think I may have been confused. I’m wondering how you cancel(timing more specifically. How long until you do the inputs?) into devil trigger from dance massacre. The DHC trick definitely comes in handy for that though.
It’s not a cancel. There is a very small amount of time at the end of dance when dante can move but the opponent hasn’t hit the floor yet. You have to DT during that very small time and DHC.
Characters usually say something when they hit the floor after dance, like ‘not on my watch’ from Cap. If they have said it before the super flash of devil trigger, then dont bother DHC’ing; you wont get the glitch because they’ve already hit the floor. If they haven’t (i.e. they’re still falling towards the floor), then input the command for the DHC and hold the buttons down. It’ll automatically do the DHC on the first frame possible.
So, with Wesker as your second, do combo to crazy dance. At the end, input the qcb+LM. If you did it to early, nothing will come out. If it does come out, but the opponent has hit the floor or said their message before the super flash, you did the devil trigger too late; just keep Dante on point unless he’s bleeding and use the devil trigger mode to annoy and hurt them. If the devil trigger does happen, and they haven’t hit the floor or said their message, then do another qcb+LM during the devil trigger animation and hold the LM. It’ll do Wesker’s DHC immediately, and the opponent that was failling close to the ground will magically pop up spinning and land on the floor in time for Wesker’s OTG gunshot to combo with full damage scaling and hitstun reset.
AFAICT, you can’t do crazy dance -> million dollars -> DHC trick because the million dollars is too slow; they’ll hit the ground before the super flash.
grrrrr, this will definitely benefit my squad. but i’m not understanding how i get stinger to jam session instead of hysteric xx grapple when my inputs clearly show QCF motions. am i doing it too fast or something amiss?
